Hostinger
When I first heard about Hostinger’s very affordable hosting plans, I suspected this might be yet another web hosting provider that cuts corners just to lure you in with a low price. But when we launched a test website on Hostinger’s servers, we were pleasantly surprised by the results.
Payment Depot
Payment Depot initially appears way too good to be true, advertising savings that seem unmatched. Is it simply overzealous marketing? My research revealed otherwise. Payment Depot truly offers a great deal – though there are some minor drawbacks to be aware of.
20i
20i offers high-performance infrastructure with a beginner-friendly platform. At first glance, this host charges much less than other providers that employ a similar set of powerful tech. But is this simply too good to be true?
CreditCardProcessing.com
Can creditcardprocessing.com’s marketing really be trusted? Or is it simply trying to hook you into a poor quality service? While my research found that it’s not the cheapest option out there, CreditCardProcessing.com offers great features – many of which you’ll struggle to find elsewhere.
Linode
Linode is cheaper than most other cloud services, and provides enterprise-level performance with its Shared CPU plans. That said, it has problems maintaining uptime, and it lacks responsive technical support options. But if you’re a developer on a budget willing to work with some uptime issues, you could still get some good value out of Linode.
NameSilo
While NameSilo offers impressive domain registration services, its web hosting plans leave a lot to be desired. With unreliable uptime and a lack of essential features, it fails to live up to other options on the market. Most notably, Hostinger offers more features and better performance for lower prices.

7 Best MySQL Database Hosting Services (CHEAP) in 2023
Since the MySQL database format is open source, you might think cheap MySQL hosting is easy to find. And it is – if you don’t care about the quality of your hosting. MySQL hosts can store text-based data for your chosen CMS at a low price, but they may neglect the performance of the database storage server. Your websites would then suffer from slow loading speeds, and even...

If you’re searching for a forever-free VPS, I have some bad news: you aren’t going to find one that isn’t a scam. 6 VERY BEST Alternatives to GoDaddy for Web Hosting in 2023
If you’re looking for an alternative to GoDaddy, you’re not alone. Many GoDaddy customers have realized that they could be getting better service for a better price from another vendor. Even GoDaddy’s cheapest shared hosting plan is expensive in comparison with other hosts, yet it lacks essential features. It also provides painfully slow loading speeds, making visitors more...

6 Best Vultr Alternatives – Reliable Cloud Hosts Tested in 2023
Vultr is by no means a terrible host, but it does have its fair share of issues, particularly with unreliable performance, support, and backups. There are other web hosts that could be a better fit for your needs – but you need to be careful because they could have the exact same problems you’re trying to get away from. You don’t want to sign up for a plan with a new web...
7 Best VPS Hosting Providers for UK Websites in 2023
Many VPS hosting providers boast of high page loading speeds – but when we test these hosts, we often find that good performance is limited to site visitors near the main data center. Which, more often than not, is located in America. It’s an unfortunate fact that many hosts only offer serviceable speeds in the US, but the best providers have data centers around the globe...
Kamatera vs Amazon Web Services: Which Is Better in 2023?
When you compare these two cloud hosts, it’s clear that Amazon Web Services (AWS) is many, many times bigger than Kamatera. The difference in infrastructure is so significant it almost seems unfair to compare them – but I was in for a big surprise when I did. Despite all the odds, I’d say Kamatera is the superior host, as it offers easier plan customizability, more generous...
5 Best Hetzner Alternatives (That Are Reliable): 2023 Update
Hetzner’s performance doesn’t quite live up to other options on the market, and its outdated control panel can be frustrating to work with. Don’t get me wrong – it’s definitely not a bad hosting service, but you can get better value for your money elsewhere. Still, switching web hosting providers is a big deal. You don’t want to transfer your website(s) across to a new host...

Both Nexcess and Bluehost primarily offer WordPress hosting, but aside from this, the differences between these two hosts pile up. But which is best for you? If you ask most other...
6 Best Hosting Providers for Minecraft Gaming Servers in 2023
Minecraft is a hungry game – it needs top-notch CPUs and plenty of RAM to perform at its best, especially if you want to install lots of mods and plugins to spice up the fun. Without computing power, gameplay will lag. Yet some Minecraft hosts charge for just-OK servers that can barely handle a vanilla install, never mind anything else. And if you want to host more than a...
6 Best WordPress Hosting Services for Agencies in 2023
Giving your web development clients free reign to choose their own web hosting providers can lead to problems. For instance, it may force your web development team to work across several different account dashboards and control panels. But more importantly, it can lead to lower client satisfaction. For example, your agency has probably run into the type of client who...
SiteGround vs OVHcloud: A Clear Win for One Provider [2023]
While SiteGround and OVHcloud are both popular web hosting providers, the most important thing to understand is that they usually cater to different markets.
