Arvixe offers a range of hosting services, from shared hosting to dedicated servers. If you’ve created an account and are ready to set up your WordPress website, read on to find out the exact process to do so. It’s quick and easy.
Once you’ve created an account, the first step is to log into your dashboard and enter the product you’ve purchased. It’s as simple as clicking on My Services on the main dashboard home page.
Step Two: Log into Your cPanel
Inside the hosting service section, on the left-hand side, you can select Login to cPanel. Click on this to enter the control panel for your hosting account.
Step Three: Install WordPress
Now you can use Softaculous to install WordPress in just a few clicks. First, scroll down to the Software section and click on Softaculous.
Once you’re inside the app installer, hover over the WordPress icon and select Install. On the next page, scroll all the way to the bottom and click the blue Install button.
Congrats, you’ve started the WordPress installation. After around 60 seconds, you’ll see an on-screen success message confirming completion of the installation.
Step Four: Connect Your Domain
Now that you have a brand new WordPress installation, you need to connect your domain to it. If you’ve purchased a domain with Arvixe, this will have happened automatically. However, if you’d like to use a domain registered elsewhere, you have to map the Domain Name System (DNS) to Arvixe.
Head over to your inbox to find your welcome email. It’s full of useful information, including your login and nameserver details. You need to get the nameserver information to update your domain name at your existing registrar (e.g., GoDaddy). It’s easy to do and should only take a couple minutes. That’s it. You’re ready to create your site.

Setting up WordPress and connecting a domain on Arvixe is a straightforward process, largely facilitated by the robust combination of cPanel and Softaculous.
