Tojeono is into the provision of domain registration, shared hosting, Virtual Private Server (VPS), SSL certificates, web design, and SEO services. It serves clients in over 25 countries from its office in the Czech Republic. Its website is available in Czech.
Features and Ease of Use
Tojeono has shared hosting plans in different categories and they have the following features:
- 500MB to 15GB disk space
- Free domain registration
- Free SSL certificate
Another security feature that comes with the shared plans is anti-spam and antivirus protection.
The shared hosting plans come with unlimited email accounts. They also provide data transfer between your online account and the computer with FTP and FTPS for transfer over a secure and encrypted channel.
It provides both MySQL and PostgreSQL databases. You can choose which one you prefer when you purchase a plan.
Tejeono supports different versions of PHP programming language and any of these versions can be selected at the point of order.
It uses Zend optimizer which is suitable on older versions of PHP to enhance scripts and applications that are running on PHP. It further accelerates the performance of PHP with an open-source cacher – Xcache; it’s fast, stable and supports all PHP versions.
SSH access is only provided to shared hosting accounts by a few hosting companies. This one offers SSH access which provides a secure way for you to access your account remotely from another device.
Cron jobs are available for task scheduling.
The e-commerce platform, Magento, comes pre-installed if you select it while ordering. It provides you with a shopping cart system you can control and manage by yourself. It also supports Joomla!.
There are extra resources that can be added to the plan for a separate fee. These include disk space, databases, IP address and more.
Pricing and Support
Tejeono has four shared hosting plans which are low priced as they are targeted to individuals and start-ups. Its fees come with no additional setup cost. Its subscription period is annual, and the payment methods are bank transfer and credit cards.
It doesn’t have a money-back guarantee or free trial period which would have been nice since it doesn’t have a monthly plan. However, the plans come with free domain registration.
If your website collects sensitive information like credit card numbers or passwords, you will need an SSL certificate to encrypt such data over the internet. You can buy one if you collect credit card details but for simple websites, Let’s Encrypt is enough and this company provides it.
Its customer support is available through phone and email address only. I sent an email to its support agents but never got a reply.
