Bottom line on Just Add Content

Just Add Content is a decent website builder, but it won’t give you the full set of features you’ll get with the top website builders like Wix.

With a tagline like “Instant Business Websites,” it’s hard not to get what Just Add Content is known for. Marketed primarily to business owners who need to get a good-looking professional website up and running quickly, Just Add Content delivers fully-responsive, streamlined websites that will ensure your business’s thriving web presence.

Once registered, you’re directed to choose from six featured designs with detailed explanations of the unique features of each design. If this selection seems sparse, fret not: each design is well thought-out and serves a different purpose based on the needs of your business, so you won’t really feel restricted by the lack of choice. Rather, it eliminates the “analysis paralysis” that comes from having too many choices, allowing you to get back to Just Add Content’s main value-add: to launch your business website as efficiently as possible. Do note that Just Add Content runs its user sites on the WordPress platform, so you can easily add and edit content via the well-known Content Management System.

The Business plan is sufficient if you’re just starting out: it gives you unlimited disk space and bandwidth, along with the essential features of the website builder. If your company is in a more advanced stage and you could use more tools to manage your online business, opt for the Plus plan instead. This gives you extra functionality like PayPal and MailChimp integration, allowing your customers to make payment online or subscribe to your newsletter directly, or other value-added services like FreshBooks (an invoicing app). If you’re not completely satisfied with the service, Just Add Content also offers a 60-day money-back guarantee with no questions asked.
