Founded in 2011, Netrider.ua provides domain registration, shared hosting, VPS hosting, and dedicated servers to clients across Europe. Its data centers are located in Ukraine and France, and its website is available in Russian.
Features and Ease of Use
Netrider.ua offers three SSD shared plans, imaginatively named SSD Hosting One, SSD Hosting Two, and SSD Hosting Three. Customers can enjoy these features:
- Free SSL certificate
- 99.9% uptime guarantee
- Daily automatic backups
- From 1 GB to 10 GB disk space
- Unlimited bandwidth
Netrider.au provides the ISPmanager control panel to manage your account. Although it’s not as nicely designed as the more popular cPanel, it does let you handle your domains, databases, and emails. It also includes beginner-friendly tools: an automatic installer and a site builder that lets you design your website without having to be a web designer or developer.
If you are a developer, you’ll be pleased to find support for the PHP programming language and three different databases: MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL.
You get a free SSL certificate, which secures your website and potentially improves your search engine standing. You also get SSH access so you can securely and remotely run server control commands.
The SSD storage is faster and more reliable than traditional HDD storage.
Pricing and Support
Netrider.ua’s three shared hosting plans come at good prices, and (at the time of writing), first-time customers can get a 90% discount for the first month plus free domain registration and free website migration from another host. Subscription periods are monthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual, with discounts for quarterly (and higher) commitments.
You can pay by various payment methods, including debit/credit cards (via the Portmone and PrivatBank payment gateways), WebMoney, PrivatBank/Privat24 terminals (for Ukrainian clients only), and cash transfer at any Ukrainian bank.
Customers can contact this company via telephone, email, or Skype. As a pre-sales prospect customer, my exploratory email received a response:
