Bangladesh-based LivakaHost started out in 2018 to provide reliable and affordable hosting solutions to individuals and businesses alike. This host’s English-language website sells shared hosting, various VPS, reseller hosting, domain solutions, website migration, and more. Note that some services, such as website design, appear in the separate store (shopping cart) pages but not on the website’s product pages.
Features and Ease of Use
LivakaHost offers nine shared hosting packages, 16 VPS packages (with Linux and Windows variants), and four reseller hosting packages. The advertised unlimited shared hosting and reseller hosting packages couldn’t be bought at the time of this review, but I can tell you that the available shared hosting packages provide you with:
- 10 GB to 100 GB SSD storage
- 250 GB to 1,000 GB bandwidth
- 1 to 5 domains
- cPanel control panel
- LiteSpeed web server
- Unlimited email accounts
- Unlimited databases
- E-commerce features
- Real-time security scanning
- Weekly backups
You can create a professional-looking website using the drag-and-drop website builder that doesn’t require you to have web design or development skills. If you’re not up to creating your website yourself, you can instead take one of LivakaHost’s website design packages. And if you simply want storage for a massive amount of data, there are storage VPS packages.
Hosted websites come with a free lifetime premium SSL certificate that should give your visitors confidence as well as potentially improving your search engine standing.
One cause for concern is the fact that different pages allude to different uptime guarantees, but I confirmed with customer services that you get a good 99.99% uptime guarantee.
Pricing and Support
LivakaHost’s first four shared hosting packages are cheap and can be paid for annually. Other solutions, such as VPS packages, can be paid monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually. You can mail in your payment or pay by PayPal in U.S. dollars or Bangladeshi taka, and a 30-day money-back guarantee gives you a month to change your mind if anything goes wrong.
Self-support resources are pretty poor since there are only a few frequently asked questions and the knowledge base contains only seven entries. However, you should be able to contact the 24/7 customer support team by telephone, ticket, email, or online contact form. Although one of my approaches went unanswered, subsequently I received a reply to my pre-sales contact form submission:
