Colocation America’s engaging website is in English, and it displays prices in U.S. dollars.
Features and Ease of Use
Colocation America’s colocation services are complemented by highly scalable dedicated server plans divided into four main categories according to processor type: Single Processor, Dual Processor, Storage, and Performance. Each category has three sublevels, which are Lite, Standard, and Pro.
You can expect to benefit from these features with the dedicated server plans:
- 100% uptime guarantee
- No upfront fees
- DDoS protection
- SSD storage
- 24/7 customer support
The Single Processor packages are tailored toward solo webmasters and small (but growing) businesses. You get up to 2 x 512 GB SSD disk space, 15 TB bandwidth, and 32 GB RAM. For a bit more punch, the Dual Processor plans provide up to 50 TB bandwidth, 128 GB RAM, and 4 x 512 GB SSD storage.
If you’re hungry for more storage, the appropriately-named Storage plans come with 2 x 2 TB HDD storage, up to 64 GB RAM, and up to 50 TB bandwidth. For those already running demanding websites, the Performance plans provide up to 20 CPU cores, 128 GB RAM, and 2 x 512 GB SSD storage.
If the preset plans don’t suit you, you can configure a Linux or Windows server to your exact specifications.
Pricing and Support
Colocation America offers its pre-built and configurable dedicated servers at reasonable prices, and there are no setup fees. You get seven days to request a refund.
You can contact the customer support team by telephone, ticket, email, or live chat. Although the live chat was offline when I wanted to try it, I received a response to my test ticket within 24 hours.
For self-support, Colocation America has a blog, a set of frequently asked questions, a YouTube channel, and an active presence on social media.
