Aclass Review 2024 – Is It Worth It?

Mark Holden Mark Holden Web Hosting Expert

Founded in 1999, Aclass is a high-class Spanish hosting company. It offers web hosting, dedicated servers, and extras such as domains and anti-spam protection for emails.

Madrid-based Aclass is a small Spanish company that provides web development, web hosting, SSL certificates, and anti-spam solutions to individuals and SMEs. Its website is available only in Spanish.

Features and Ease of Use

As a company that continuously innovates hosting products, Aclass is in a class of its own and doesn’t need to play catch-up with its competitors. It has invested in a modern, secure hosting facility that includes load-balanced Dell servers with fast SSD storage and RAID protection. Its 99.99% uptime SLA means users can rest assured that their websites will be available and performant at all times.

Hosting accounts are managed using the Plesk control panel, and they include the following features:

  • Domain registration/parking
  • Unlimited transfer
  • Unlimited databases
  • Web-based file manager
  • Web email accounts
  • Secure FTP access
  • Website statistics

When moving to a new hosting provider, you want to be sure that the new environment will grow with you. Aclass’s easy-to-scale hosting packages let you get more resources (from additional IPs to emails and RAM) when you need them.

To build your website in the first place, you can use any of the free CMS apps, or create a custom PHP website, or take advantage of this provider’s web development services (at extra cost). When it’s up and running, remember to take full website backups via the backup manager.

Security-wise, servers are well-protected against brute force attacks and intrusion thanks to the firewall and the ModSecurity that protects web apps against all kinds of attacks. You also get a free Let’s Encrypt SSL, too.

If you prefer not to share your resources, you have the option to utilize the Cloud VPS and dedicated servers, which provide full root access and the ability to choose your preferred operating system. Simply use the sliding price calculator to select your desired RAM, CPU cores, and storage space.

Pricing and Support

The Aclass hosting plans are competitively priced, and they include a 30-day money back guarantee that allows you to request a refund within the first few weeks if you’re not entirely happy. It looks like you can’t purchase plans entirely online, so you have to contact the company (which would be easier if the “contact us” buttons actually did something).

As well as moving your website for free to its servers, this vendor’s dynamic technical team should be able to resolve all your hosting issues. Email them, call them during office hours, or submit a support ticket. There is no knowledge base as far as I can see, but you can get remote support via TeamViewer:

Aclass REVIEW: BOTTOM LINE

If you’re looking for fast Windows or Linux SSD Hosting, or reliable VPS and dedicated servers in Spain, you should make Aclass your first port of call. The only downside for me is the possible second class support.

Aclass might offer a good service at a reasonable price, but does it match up with the top web hosting companies? We find it hard to say “yes.”

Pros

  • Risk-free web hosting
  • Easy-to-scale hosting services
  • 30-day money-back guarantee
  • Firewall protection

Cons

  • Domains are non-refundable
  • Website is in Spanish only
