Sendinblue Launches New Feature for Customer Conversations

Relationship management and email marketing platform Sendinblue recently introduced Conversations, a new chat widget. The feature allows users to manage customer communication from different messaging channels in one place.

Conversations also comes with tools like live chat, chatbot, and multichannel inbox. There’s a free and premium version of the product.

“The digital marketplace demands a solution that removes customer friction points,” Steffen Schebesta, CEO of North America and VP of Corporate Development at Sendinblue, said in a statement.

“According to Forrester Research, 53% of customers abandon their shopping carts if they can’t find the quick answers while browsing a brand’s website. Conversational marketing is an incredibly valuable tool to deepen relationships with existing customers and immediately respond to new prospects so that intent turns to conversion. This ties back to our growth strategy of being the go-to all-in-one marketing and customer relationship tool,” he stressed.

Conversations is designed to streamline customer communications in multiple ways. Users can program the chatbot to answer frequently asked questions automatically. Through the multichannel inbox feature, users can reply to all messages received from live chat, email, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook from one centralized spot.

The live chat tool allows website owners to respond to customer queries in real-time. There’s a synchronization feature that can collect and input contacts and leads from the live chat into the user’s CRM system automatically.

Conversations can integrate with multiple popular e-commerce platforms, including Shopify, WooCommerce, Google Tag Manager, and WordPress, among others. Users can also customize the widget to match their branding.

The free version of Sendinblue Conversations comes with full conversation history, unlimited conversations, email chat transcripts, typing indicators, and read receipts. On top of these features, the paid Pro version includes chatbot automations, group chats, chat ratings, visitor intelligence, visitor banning, targeted messages and triggers, typing insights, and agent productivity.

The setup process for this feature is easy and takes less than ten minutes. There’s also a Sendinblue Conversations mobile app available for both Android and iOS, enabling business owners to respond to customers’ messages on the go.

Communication management has recently come to the forefront for companies offering CRM solutions. A few weeks ago, Wix teamed up with Meta to streamline communication management and allow users to handle everything from one dashboard.
