Intuit Mailchimp and Wix
have entered into a strategic partnership that will benefit customers using both solutions. Users will now be able to connect their CRM data across the platforms to create more targeted marketing campaigns.
Wix and Mailchimp both have solutions for small- and medium-sized businesses. Wix brings end-to-end capabilities to allow businesses to create and grow their online presence and Mailchimp
offers an easy-to-use email and marketing automation platform.
The cross-platform integration will have a gradual global rollout in the US, the UK, and Canada in the upcoming weeks, in time for the start of the busy and highly profitable holiday shopping season. Intuit Mailchimp discussed the details
of this partnership and many upcoming enhancements at its annual Marketing Success Season conference.
Kenneth Chestnut, Global Head of Ecosystem at Intuit Mailchimp, told the crowd that “marketers can tap into a wealth of marketing best practices when connecting their Wix accounts to Mailchimp, getting recommendations and generated content that are built with insights derived from an international data footprint at their core.”
Wix users will now have access to a complete email marketing suite powered by innovative technology. Targeted marketing campaigns have a better success rate than generic email campaigns and, according to Mailchimp
, over 70% of customers “feel more valued” and “have more trust” in companies that send personalized emails.
“This partnership will allow both of our companies to bring our respective expertise and best-in-class products together to form a seamless experience for users,” says Nir Zohar, President and COO of Wix.
Ken Chestnut, Global Head of Ecosystem at Mailchimp, agrees. “With Intuit’s history of serving small businesses and marketers and Wix’s global footprint in the digital space
, we’re bringing together a wealth of valuable technologies and insights that can unlock limitless possibilities for mutual customers of Wix and Mailchimp.”
The announcement of the partnership has proven valuable for Wix, with a Wall Street analyst projecting that the partnership will likely increase the Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) and could lead to an increase in subscriptions for both Wix and Intuit Mailchimp.
