Wix’s New AI Tool Can Create Entire Websites From Prompts

Wix, a SaaS website builder, announced it’s working on an AI Site Generator that can generate an entire website from prompts. The company will also release three other AI-powered tools: AI Page and Section Creator, Object Eraser, and AI Assistant Tool for business management.

The AI Site Generator represents “the next generation of website creation.” It can create a complete, unique website “completely fitted to the site’s content.” Based on the demo, ChatGPT – which is already integrated into many of Wix’s solutions – will converse with the user about their website’s purpose.

Users can also request their website to include any business solution available within Wix, like an e-commerce store, booking functionality, industry-specific features for restaurants, subscription-based businesses, and more. ChatGPT will create the website’s text content, while Wix handles the design and images.

Once the AI Site Generator creates a site, users can prompt the tool to make modifications. Users aren’t limited to these instant AI creations. They have a whole suite of AI and non-AI tools available within Wix’s builder to personalize their website.

The AI Page and Section Creator is another upcoming AI-powered feature that will speed up website creation for existing and new website owners. Like the AI Site Generator, it follows prompts, creating pages and sections with the desired layout, design, and text within seconds. The Object Eraser allows users to remove objects from images.

Finally, the AI Assistant tool will assist users in site and business management. It collects data from site analytics and trends and uses it to create strategies and recommendations for improvements. It can also help with day-to-day tasks, leaving site owners with more time to focus on their business objectives.

On top of the upcoming AI features, Wix has a suite of AI tools that are already available. The AI Text Creator powered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT allows users to generate personalized content for their website in seconds. Other available AI-based tools include AI Template Text Creator, AI Image Creator, AI Domain Generator, Alternative Layouts, Product Descriptions, Product Recommendations, Auto Background Removal and Auto Enhance, and Auto-Generated Trailer.

The AI Site Generator might be Wix’s most advanced AI technology to date, but it’s not its first. Wix has been innovating with AI since 2016, when it introduced Artificial Design Intelligence (ADI) for speedy website creation.
