A2 Hosting Rebrands to hosting.com
The web hosting company A2 Hosting has rebranded to hosting.com after its January acquisition by World Host Group, as announced in an April 27 blog post. The rebrand comes with promises of enhanced features for customers, such as added data centers and improved customer support.
“The transition to hosting.com signifies a pivotal moment in our journey. It’s more than just a name change. It’s a reflection of our transformation into a global entity with a clear vision for the future,” wrote Cory Miller, hosting.com’s “Chief Evangelist,” in the announcement.
Founded in 2001, A2 Hosting offers shared, virtual private server (VPS), and specialized hosting. It’s commonly amongst the most recommended shared hosting options for reviewers and publications. According to the announcement post, the rebrand serves to increase the company’s global recognition and reach.
“Expect a faster, more modern site, an intuitive and feature-rich customer panel, and access to a suite of innovative tools designed to streamline your hosting experience (without any faff or confusion),” Miller added.
In particular, the rebrand will serve to expand hosting.com’s reach by adding additional data centers to its network, improving customer support, introducing advanced features for agencies, and upgrading old technology to eco-friendly alternatives, according to World Host Group. It also promises to integrate a new hosting control panel into hosting.com’s services soon.
Though World Host Group is a relatively young company, with its origins dating to 2019, it has already made a significant list of acquisitions. Other acquisitions by the group include HostingRaja.in, Doteasy, WebHostPython, and ColombiaHosting.
“As part of this transition, World Host Group is committed to ensuring A2 Hosting customers see immediate and tangible benefits. The group’s substantial investments will enhance customer experiences while staying true to A2 Hosting’s core values of performance and reliability,” the group said in a press release.
