Please describe the story behind the company: What sparked the idea, and how has it evolved so far?
SecurionPay is a payment platform with Swiss roots that is technologically advanced, but very easy to implement and use. The story behind our company is straightforward.
SecurionPay founders’ experience spans nearly 20 years, so they’ve participated in multiple projects. Gathering their payment experience, they’ve realized that none of the companies that existed on the market back then were able to fully address merchants’ needs related to payments. For instance, merchants have come across many technical problems, or they’ve been grappling with a never-ending compliance process. So, naturally, SecurionPay is here to change it.
Today, SecurionPay is one of the top-rated payment platforms, based on positive feedback from our clients. What separates you from other similar websites/companies?
One of the key differentiators is increased payment conversion and user flow, resulting from the complete abandonment of redirections onto the external payment forms. By simplifying payments and making the checkout process faster by 2-4 minutes, merchants are able to increase their sales and conversion on average by 19%. Who are your typical customers, and what do you think is the main challenge that your product solves for them?
Our solution is designed to facilitate payments among a varied range of industries, such as e-commerce, online dating, forex, to name a few.
We provide a very pro-merchant approach and develop our solution to give our clients more time to focus on things that really matter to improve their business. One of the biggest challenges was convincing merchants that payment processing doesn’t have to be complicated and painful. We’ve streamlined the convenience of an onboarding process to take the pain out of merchants and make it as quick as submitting an application, and we bear the burden of compliance.
We’ve seen a large percentage of our new business partners come through recommendations and reviews from our existing clients, so that’s why we’re confident that our solution drives them great results.
How do you envision the future of your industry?
As Jim Marous mentioned lately, the future of payments is fast, seamless, safe, and embedded, which we focus on from the very beginning. However, we can see that the COVID-19 pandemic was a catalyst for change in the way money is processed, so payment companies that provide timely assistance will take a bigger slice of the cake.
We can’t forget that security is an integral part of online payments. Any crisis creates opportunities for criminals, so payment-related companies need to focus on providing systems with dynamic rules that adjust quickly to certain industries and the current situation. The post-pandemic situation may also lead to the adoption of distributed ledger technology for payments.
