is a solution that helps you build your pages, sales funnels, and e-commerce store in minutes. It will help you convert and sell more than with a conventional website. Stan Petrov, the CEO of Simvoly, kindly agreed to provide some information about the history behind the company, their mission, and what is in the pipeline for the future.
Please describe the story behind the company: What sparked the idea, and how has it evolved so far?
We first wanted to build templates for WordPress but after a few weeks into that, we were fed up with how bad, slow, and non-user friendly the whole solution was. We decided that we want to build our own mini and light version of it. I guess we just always wanted to have something of our own that people would use. We did not expect it to take that much time to release our first version of the platform but after about 2 years of work on it, we were able in 2016 to release the MVP.
When we look back, it was pretty bad the MVP but we had to get something out there. The great thing about us is that we never stop improving as we want to be the best in every aspect. Constantly improving on the UI/UX, introducing new features, etc. So soon after that in 2016, we released our e-commerce functionality. Keep in mind, we never use third-party software or integrate deeply, everything is built by us from scratch.
We had a lot of questions about white labeling the solution even in the early days so we decided to look into that as we always were led by what our community wanted. So we started working on the white label. We looked at what was out there and to our surprise, there wasn’t much of it, if there was, it was pretty bad. So we decided to build the best and most customizable white label website builder on the planet and we did. We had like 50 pre-sold white label subscriptions and with the release, we had already partners who were starting to use the solution under their brand. It is a truly white label – their brand, their domain, their pricing, their templates. They could have it all as their own unique SaaS solution.
In 2018 we saw that the funnel space was picking up so we explored the idea. We again saw that all funnel builders are terrible and we’ve already built the smoothest page builder out there, surpassing Wix, Squarespace, Weebly, and the rest in ease of use. So we worked on the funnels with a/b testing, flows, upsells, and downsells. That made us the first website builder (and still the only one) that has funnels. This was and still is one of our biggest differentiators.
Our goal just switched from just a website builder to a true all-in-one place for businesses and digital agencies & entrepreneurs to have their own solution. We introduced the CRM for free, the appointments, and a bunch of other improvements. The latest addition and our biggest update is email marketing and automation. This update kind of completed the whole ecosystem, our customers could now engage with their lists in an extremely fast and easy way, much better than Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, or anything else on the market.
Our main focus shifted from marketing it to end customers ourselves to building and maintaining the best product on the market that others can use and resell under their brand. We are just really good at the product.
What is the mission of Simolvy?
As mentioned above, to provide a true all-in-one solution to the businesses, giving them a platform to actually help them achieve results and be able to do it all from one place – cheaper and easier.
We have other ideas to make it even more unique but for the time being, we will focus on improving the existing functionalities as we always strive for perfection.
What services do you offer?
Website & page builder, funnel builder, white label program, e-commerce, email marketing, automations, CRM, appointments, and scheduling.
What separates you from other similar websites/companies?
We have the fastest and smoothest to use the platform in every aspect BY A LOT. Our page builder is butter smooth and generates one of the fastest (if not the fastest) pages on the market, crushing all competitors that we compared with.
We are the only website and funnel builder in one. The ability to split a/b test on the homepage of your website is something that you can’t do in ANY website builder in the world but ours.
We are the only 100% white label solution that allows you to have your own Do-It-Yourself website and funnel builder (and now email marketing & automations platform).
Who are your typical customers, and what do you think is the main challenge that your product solves for them?
The main end customers are small and medium businesses. We partner mainly with digital agencies, marketers, freelancers, and bigger companies to provide the white label solution under their brand.
For end customers – a place to build their site, to sell online, to build their funnels, and to achieve actual results in their digital journey. It is meant for conversions and actual goals, not for the sake of having a website that does nothing for you. A place to manage your contacts (in the CRM), get appointments and send your campaigns. Everything that a business might want to do without breaking their bank.
For partners – a true white label solution that gives them the power to build for customers times faster, better and cheaper under their branded solution. The ability to have their own Do-It-Yourself platform to build a SaaS brand and product.
How do you envision the future of your industry?
It will only grow as this is the future of the web, platforms where everyone can have control of their business. Not having to wait for developers or somebody else to do it for them. As everything is getting digital, you have to have the faith of your business in your hand.
I don’t see much progress from any of our competitors, they seem to have stopped. We really seem to be the only one that experiments and introduces new and disruptive things on the market and we are totally fine with that. We have crazy ideas but only time will tell what will actually stick and stay, maybe we will disrupt the market big time, who knows.
