Wix Launches AI Visibility Overview for GEO
Popular website builder Wix introduced the AI Visibility Overview, a new tool for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), designed to help brands understand how AI-driven search engines perceive them.
Beyond traditional SEO, brands now must master GEO to get discovered and stay visible across AI-driven browsers. Wix’s AI Visibility Overview tackles this challenge, offering brands the insights they need “to navigate and succeed in an AI-driven landscape.” With this tool, site owners can track and improve their discoverability across popular AI search engines, like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini.
Key features of Wix’s AI Visibility Overview include tracking and managing AI citations, monitoring brand sentiment across large language models (LLMs), benchmarking AI visibility against competitors, and measuring AI-related traffic.
The AI Visibility Overview feature is built into Wix’s existing SEO suite. It’s available to users with a Wix Business Manager set to English. Wix plans to support more languages in future updates.
Wix is the first CMS to offer a built-in tool for tracking, managing, and enhancing AI visibility. However, the concept isn’t entirely new – Adobe recently introduced the LLM Optimizer, an app with similar features to help brands track, benchmark, and improve their discoverability across AI search engines.
Alongside the AI Visibility Overview, Wix now lets selected ecommerce users manage LLMs.text, a proposed standard that helps LLMs better interpret and interact with website content. According to Wix, the close communication between sites and LLMs enables merchants to boost AI discoverability and “reach millions of potential customers.”
Wix continues to invest big in AI projects. Recently, Wix acquired Base 44, a viral AI app maker built on the concept of vibe coding. This emerging approach enables everyone, including non-programmers, to create software using natural language while AI agents handle the technical details.
“We leverage AI to let our users do more, faster, and at a higher quality than ever before,” Wix Co-founder and CEO, Avishai Abrahami, emphasized Wix’s commitment to AI innovation in a recent blog post about the company’s vision for AI and the future of website creation.
