Wix Introduces Financial Services Suite
Wix has integrated two new financial solutions, Wix Checking and Wix Capital, into its platform. The services are available to select US-based Wix Payments users, but the company plans to broaden access to more users and regions in the future.
“With Wix Checking and Wix Capital, we’re giving users a complete financial solution built into the platform they already use,” Amit Sagiv and Volodymyr Tsukur, Co-Heads of Wix Payments, said in a press release.
Wix Checking is a no-fee checking account fully integrated within the Wix platform. It’s designed to simplify financial operations and give Wix Payments users a real-time view of their cash flow and business performance.
Previously, Wix didn’t offer instant payouts as part of its native payment solution, Wix Payments. Funds would typically take 2–5 business days to reach users’ accounts. With Wix Checking, users can now instantly access their funds as soon as a sale is completed. Earned funds can be spent via the Wix Visa® business debit card or transferred to an external bank account.
Wix Capital, the second new service, offers a merchant cash advance (MCA). An MCA is a type of financing in which a business receives a lump sum of capital in exchange for a percentage of its future credit card sales or daily revenue. This flexible financing helps bridge cash flow gaps and supports growth, particularly for businesses with limited credit history or difficulty securing traditional loans.
“It’s fast, simple, and designed to help small businesses access their money and fuel growth – all in one place,” Wix emphasized in its announcement.
The company also added direct PayPal integration, enabling merchants to manage all payment activity, including Wix Payments, PayPal, and Venmo, from a single dashboard. These updates underscore Wix’s commitment “to supporting the full journey of business ownership, from managing day-to-day operations to making smarter financial decisions.”
