What are your Managed WordPress hosting plans, and what is included?
We provide a wide range of plans starting with a 1 site plan that caps at 60k pageviews and go up from there. We have plans that make sense for publishers and enterprise brands that need to support heavy traffic without compromising on storage and bandwidth, as well as plans that are a better fit for website development and digital marketing agencies or freelancers managing 5, 10, 200, 1000+ sites with their own unique needs. You shop by the number of sites you need or the number of combined pageviews you need per plan. There are no storage or bandwidth caps, and we include Overage Spike Forgiveness as standard business operations.
All plans include the same features; we call it Enterprise Architecture for All. The way we see it, it shouldn’t matter how large (or small) your audience is or what you’re trying to accomplish with your website – you pay for hosting to have access to all the features needed to keep your site safe and available, and we just want that to be a simple experience for our customers.
Our plans are tiered based on access to traffic (pageviews) or access to concierge support. Everyone gets all features and 24/7 ticket support, but as you scale up in size (sites or traffic), your need for support likely scales up as well. At a certain point, our customers get a direct slack line to our entire support and systems team for efficient troubleshooting and aggregate expertise included in their monthly hosting plan.
What eCommerce options are available?
Any customer can add a Managed WooCommerce plugin to any plan, which we’ll install on their sites and keep the core updates maintained on their behalf.
We’ve also partnered with Jilt, an email automation tool that specializes in maximizing revenue in WooCommerce stores. When you choose to add Jilt to your WooCommerce plan, you get specialized pricing if you decide to upgrade their service just for being a Pressable customer.
What is Jetpack Premium?
Jetpack Premium is the next level of features and access to the Jetpack plugin. This plugin includes SEO tools, backup features, publishing tools, themes, and performance optimizations for images and other rich media.
Are migration services available for customers with existing web sites?
Yes! Pressable customers have the choice of using our Automated Migration plugin to migrate websites or to contact support and request a white-glove migration. When our support handles the migration, it allows us to coordinate the timing and pay special care based on the customer needs. Our publishers and freelancers tend to prefer the DIY approach using our Automated Migration plugin, where enterprise brands and agencies with large website portfolios prefer that our team of dedicated experts take care of the migration themselves.
We also scan all incoming websites for malware and other security breaches before migrating them to the PressableEdge infrastructure.
Do you offer any WordPress training or tutorials?
We offer WP101 to all customers and work with our Strategic Partners to provide periodic webinars and “Ask Me Anything” digital events on Twitter. We hope to continue to grow in how we offer collaborative training and tutorials for how users can get the most out of their WordPress experience.
We also provide a Knowledge Base that our support team is continually working on updating with new articles as they relate to specific WordPress tasks in our hosting environment and features.
Are backup and recovery services available?
We offer daily backups, and recovery can be accessed as needed by working with our 24/7 support team.
How are your servers protected against hackers and other cyberthreats?
We provide proactive scanning and threat detection to our servers.
What support is available to your customers?
24/7 ticket support is open to all customers, 24/7 live chat is available to customers with 10+ sites, and direct Slack instances for select Agency and VIP plans, with the option to pay to add Slack support to any other plan.
