Can you give us a brief overview of SharePass as a company?

SharePass is a cybersecurity company specialising in digital footprint management. Our platform allows users to share sensitive information, like credentials, personal data, documents, and more, without leaving a digital footprint. Unlike traditional methods (email, SMS, chat apps), SharePass encrypts data into single-use or multi-use links and controls access through advanced privacy settings.

Founded in Australia, SharePass operates globally and has been recognised for its innovation by SourceForge, the Globee Awards, and the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards. Our mission is simple: to return control of digital information to its rightful owners—individuals and organisations. How do you allow your clients to personalize and time access to their sensitive data?

At SharePass, every secret shared is wrapped in a patent-pending Security Funnel, which applies up to eight layers of checks before a secret is revealed. Clients can:

• Set expiry dates or time-to-live (TTL)
• Define availability windows (future-dated or time-bound sharing). You can also set a timeframe during which the secret will be available for opening.
• Restrict access by IP address, PIN, YubiKey, or geo-fencing
• Lock and unlock data manually
• Use authorization methods like email, Security keys (Yubikeys), or biometrics.

Even after a message is shared, the sender retains full control. Access can be revoked, edited, or monitored, ensuring compliance, privacy, and zero persistence.

What is SharePass One, and what benefits does it offer to your enterprise clients?

SharePass One is our enterprise-grade solution, tailored for organisations that require full control, scalability, and customisation. Key features include:

• White labelling and custom domains
• Private infrastructure in dedicated geographic regions
• SSO support (Office365, Google Workspace, etc.)
• YubiKey and MFA integration
• File sharing with advanced restrictions
• Custom encrypted forms for data collection
• Full API access and support for custom integrations

With SharePass One, organisations can enforce strict internal policies, eliminate internal leaks, and integrate secure data-sharing capabilities across departments or clients—all without relying on traditional, high-risk communication channels.

What is the technology stack behind your products and services?

SharePass is built on a serverless architecture, making it energy efficient, scalable, and resilient. Our tech stack includes:

• AWS DynamoDB with transactional ACID compliance for secure, atomic data handling
• AES-256 GCM encryption or Post Quantum Encryption (early adoption) for confidentiality and integrity
• Client-side encryption & decryption (zero-trust model)
• Integration with FIDO2-compliant devices (e.g., YubiKey)
• NVIDIA machine learning libraries powering SharePass Inspector, which identifies sensitive data before it’s shared

The system is platform-agnostic, supporting mobile (iOS and soon Android), browser extensions, and API-first implementations for enterprise workflows.

What can we expect from SharePass in the near future?

We’re building toward a new standard in secure communication. Upcoming developments include:

• Launch of SharePass Pro which is a version for business.
• Expansion of Mutual Human Authorization (MHA) — where the sender must approve access in real time
• Embedded secure forms and custom intake workflows for sectors like healthcare, legal, and government
• Enhanced AI-driven policy suggestions via SharePass Inspector
• Additional compliance capabilities to meet upcoming privacy reforms (e.g., in Australia and the EU)

We’re also expanding our partnership ecosystem with leaders in security hardware, cloud, and identity.

Is there anything else about your work that you’d like to share that we haven’t covered?

Beyond cybersecurity, SharePass plays a national role in bridging Australian innovation with the Middle East. We’ve been appointed by Dubai World Trade Centre as the official organiser of the Australian Pavilion at GISEC and GITEX—two of the largest tech and cybersecurity expos in the world.
