What’s in store for NeuCurrent going forward? Can we expect any new projects or features in the near future?
The next big thing for us is to connect 25,000 local grocery stores with local customers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia through a single marketplace (our partner Qarrib) and the NeuCurrent omnichannel platform. This is a rapidly growing project that we are very proud to be part of. We will be expanding to Europe in 2025. Local shops are forgotten children of retail, with no digitalisation and no one talking about them. 69% of small and medium-sized retailers still rank low on the digital adoption scale according to the European E-commerce Association. And yet they contribute to nearly 50% of retail turnover in Europe.
