What inspired the founding of GetUWired in 2003, and how has the company evolved to become a full-service internet marketing firm dedicated to helping small businesses succeed?
Our founder was tasked with building out a web-based project and had a hard time finding reliable partners to help build it out. He decided that with a few good coders, he could help provide a more reliable option to small businesses needing web projects completed.
As the industry has evolved, GetUWired has continued to explore new innovations and how clients want to use new technology.
Can you elaborate on the range of services GetUWired offers, including CRM coaching, marketing automation, and API integrations, and how they enhance clients’ online presence and drive profits?
A good website is usually the first step in hiring a business, so all the behind-the-scenes actions that start happening when a meeting is booked or a consultation form is completed is where businesses need data to be transferred to multiple systems.
Oftentimes, the data needs to be formatted differently,y and different team members want to focus on different answers. Connecting all these different systems in a streamlined way is really where GetUWired helps businesses streamline and improve workflows.
How does GetUWired’s in-house team approach benefit clients compared to traditional agency models, particularly in terms of cohesive messaging and trackable results?
Having the experience of seeing how similar businesses will use the same software completely differently gives us ga reat perspective to guide clients to new ways to handle workflows in ways they might never have thought of themselves.
Could you share a success story where GetUWired’s services significantly improved a client’s business performance, such as increased website traffic or lead generation?
Boundless Coaching focuses on coaching athletes to perform in different endurance races. With over 100 clients and 20 coaches, there were significant operational hurdles. Managing client intake, subscriptions, and assigning coaches was being done through fragmented systems like MailChimp and PayRoc. This was inefficient and time-consuming.
The athlete onboarding process relied heavily on manual work, making it challenging for the team to maintain a smooth handoff from sales to coaching. Boundless needed an integrated CRM solution to streamline operations, improve automation, and create a more seamless experience for both coaches and athletes.
GetUWired partnered with Boundless Coaching to build systems to handle consultations, coach assignments, collecting payment, connecting coaches and athletes to book training sessions, and allowing athletes to manage their subscriptions for ongoing coaching.
The migration consolidated data from MailChimp, PayRoc, and other tools into a unified platform, integrating with Stripe and Spiffy Checkouts for seamless payment processing. GetUWired also developed custom workflows in Keap to automate client onboarding and coach assignments, reducing manual tasks.
A simplified handoff process was built, ensuring smooth transitions between sales, coaching, and athlete management. Athletes now book directly with their assigned coach through Calendly. These solutions not only optimized their operations but also laid the groundwork for future scalability.
What role do GetUWired’s core values and company culture play in delivering high-performance, high-passion services to clients?
I won’t go through all of our core values, but 2 of them will give a good example: Respect and Empower.
We really take time to hear what our client’ needs are because we respect their industry knowledge, and then with our solutions, we want to empower them as much as possible to maintain, manage, build on and customize as their business progresses.
How does GetUWired stay ahead of emerging trends in internet marketing to ensure clients receive innovative and effective solutions?
There are several ways we stay up to date. Each month, we have time dedicated to our developer training, where they can learn about emerging technology trends. Developers can also choose to complete progression projects to develop their skills and learn systems with the pressure of working directly with a client. Our clients are also a big source of innovation.
They’ll bring us new systems and ask us to research their capabilities or to extend what they can do through their APIs. We can then take those learnings to other clients and projects.
