When Bigello first launched as a website development team, they didn’t anticipate becoming a full-service digital marketing agency.
But as client needs expanded—from SEO and content to PPC and email marketing—the company evolved to meet them all under one roof. In this exclusive
Website Planet interview, Adeel Makhdumi shares how Bigello’s client-first mindset drives everything from tailored strategies to “rescue missions” for struggling projects.
With a focus on ROI and long-term partnerships, Bigello continues to grow by being the one-stop solution their clients can rely on.
What inspired Bigello to position itself as a full-service digital marketing agency combining SEO, content writing, web design, and PPC under one roof?
We initially started as a website development team. However, our satisfied clients soon began asking us to handle other aspects of their digital presence as well. Their growing needs required us to expand our team and add new services. Over time, we evolved into a full-fledged digital marketing agency because our clients preferred having one trusted partner manage everything digital for them.
This approach not only simplified their operations but also strengthened our relationships, leading to long-term, rewarding collaborations. Today, we’re even planning to launch a photo studio for eCommerce clients—once again driven by client demand for a one-stop solution.
How do you tailor customized strategies—like SEO, email, social media, and paid ads—to align with each client’s brand and industry goals?
We take a holistic approach to crafting strategies. It starts with involving our branding team to define the client’s unique brand voice, tone, and visual language. This foundation is then applied consistently across all platforms—whether it’s social media, paid advertising, email campaigns, or SEO content.
Before execution, we hold in-depth sessions with the client to understand their target audience, buyer journey, competitors, key touchpoints, and pain points. Since every client and industry is different, each strategy is designed to feel bespoke while still following proven best practices.
We also factor in critical elements like audience targeting, budget optimization, product positioning, ROI, and customer acquisition cost. This ensures that our strategies are not only creative and aligned with the brand but also profitable and performance-driven
Can you share a standout case where your content-writing services helped a client achieve increased traffic, engagement, or conversions?
Yes. One great example is an allergist in Fresno who now ranks on the first page of search results—thanks entirely to the content we developed for their website. By creating high-quality, SEO-optimized articles and service pages, we significantly improved their site’s visibility.
As a result, they’re seeing a steady increase in traffic, higher engagement, and more qualified leads that convert into patients. The client is thrilled with the results and continues to trust us as their digital partner.
How do your WordPress and WooCommerce development offerings—including custom themes and plugin integration—enhance site functionality and client outcomes?
We take a pragmatic approach when it comes to custom themes and plugin development. While fully custom themes can offer unique functionality, they’re often more expensive and require ongoing maintenance. That’s why we usually recommend customizing high-quality, well-reviewed prebuilt themes that meet most clients’ needs efficiently and cost-effectively.
However, for businesses with highly specific requirements that can’t be met with off-the-shelf solutions, we suggest custom theme development and plugin integration. In these cases, we carefully evaluate the client’s goals, budget, and long-term needs before proposing such solutions. This ensures that any customization delivers meaningful outcomes—enhanced functionality, a seamless user experience, and ultimately, better performance for their business.
What approach does your “Rescue Mission” service use to recover struggling software or website projects and ensure they succeed?
Our approach starts with one critical question:
Can we make this work? If the answer is yes, we take over the client’s existing codebase and begin the recovery process. If not, we’re upfront about it and advise the client to seek alternatives—because we believe in setting clear expectations from the start.
We also recognize that rescue projects aren’t just technical challenges—they’re emotional ones too. Clients often come to us after experiencing setbacks, wasted resources, and broken trust with previous teams. We deeply respect their decision not to give up and treat their situation with the urgency and care it deserves.
Our process involves setting clear, achievable goals, identifying and undoing flawed work from the previous team, and rebuilding critical components to get the project back on track. These are often the most challenging projects, but also the most rewarding. We develop strong, lasting relationships with clients because they know we went the extra mile to help them succeed.
How do you measure campaign success—what KPIs do you track (e.g., traffic, conversions, ROI)—and how often do you report progress to clients?
While we do track all the conventional metrics—clicks, traffic, impressions, engagement, and more via Meta and Google analytics—the real measure of success for us goes beyond that. At the end of the day, every business wants one thing: a positive return on investment.
Our core focus is on answering the most important question:
What did they spend, what did they make? If that equation works, we know we’ve done our job. We also make it a point to share clear, actionable reports with clients at regular intervals—whether weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly—depending on the campaign’s scale and client preference.
