Brevo Acquires Octolis and WonderPush

Customer relationship management (CRM) solutions company Brevo acquired Octolis and WonderPush.

Customer data platform (CDP) Octolis will help Brevo centralize all customer information to build highly personalized marketing campaigns. Push notification platform WonderPush, on the other hand, boasts the fastest push notification solution on the market, enabling businesses to send up to 350,000 push messages per second.

With these technologies integrated into Brevo’s ecosystem, the company can strengthen its real-time interaction capabilities and offer a more powerful all-in-one CRM platform to its 500,000 global customers.

“Acquiring WonderPush and Octolis represents a step further for Brevo to offer a state-of-the-art CRM to its clients,” said Armand Thiberge, Founder and CEO of Brevo. “It’s a huge competitive advantage to be able to offer such a unique integrated, easy-to-use, all-in-one platform for greater business visibility and greater reach.”

WonderPush founder Frédéric Mahé and Octolis co-founder Yassine Hamou Tahra will also join Brevo. They will be in charge of overseeing the integration of their solutions into the Brevo ecosystem and creating commercial strategies that resonate with Brevo’s customer base.

The Octolis and WonderPush acquisitions mark the night and tenth organizations taken over by Brevo since 2019. The SaaS company has been flourishing in the past years, targeting €1 billion in revenue by 2030. According to internal projections, Brevo is on its way to achieving this ambitious goal.

“These acquisitions, along with an in-house dynamic innovation, have allowed Brevo to exceed €100 million in annual revenue, while being profitable and having over 40% organic growth,” said Brevo CEO Armand Thiberge.

Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) started as a newsletter service for small- to mid-sized companies. Its previous name was a nod to the blue checkmark that signified an email was safe to open. With only 31% of its customers focused solely on sending newsletters, the company outgrew its name and became Brevo to reflect its expansion.

Brevo now offers an entire CRM solution boasting a comprehensive marketing platform for automation and campaigns, a recently updated sales platform for overseeing and managing sales across channels, transactional email service, chat tools, and more. Louis Vuitton, eBay, and Michelin are just a few of the big names relying on Brevo’s innovative CRM technology.
