had the opportunity to interview Oleg Puzanov, Co-founder and CSO of Mad Devs. We talked about how the company evolved, what is its mission, and how it differs from similar companies.
Please present Mad Devs to our audience.
Mad Devs is an IT company headquartered in London, developing enterprise-level software solutions for business in finance, transport and logistics, security, educational technologies, and advertising. We provide a full range of services from software development to IT consulting and technical audit.
Our team prefers to handle large and complex projects with high Lifetime Value. As representatives of remote-first culture, we are fully engaged in partnerships with customers worldwide. Most of our customers are business representatives from Europe, the USA, and Southeast Asia. We have implemented over 50 successful projects and web services on our account. We work with Clutch.co, Veeqo, Guardrails, GoDee, Eatigo, and many other companies, making hundreds of thousands of people enjoy the applications and services they use every day.
Please describe the story behind the company: What sparked the idea, and how has it evolved so far?
Our team started to form back in 2007 when I and my current Mad Devs co-founders and coworkers mostly worked as developers and PMs on other projects.
Our expertise was growing, and from 2010-2016 we launched several big technology products in Central Asia’s multimedia, transport, and delivery industries.
After the successful launch and support of these products, we realized that we had assembled a strong team with good expertise, which was able to implement world-class projects. Then we decided to create Mad Devs.
In 2016 there were only 13 of us. Now, almost six years later, Mad Devs employs more than 140 people. We have hundreds of successful world-class projects with a million capitalization and dozens of awards behind us.
We mainly owe our growth to our attitude to technology and people.
The technology industry is actively growing, and its growth is increasing. We are encouraged by it because we love and believe in technology. That’s why we closely observe their growth, constantly studying, developing, and applying them to improve our technological expertise.
Also, we love and believe in people because people are the main driving force behind any technology, company, or industry growth. We put a lot of attention into the growth of our people, increasing their knowledge, enhancing their experience, and improving their workflow.

What sets Mad Devs apart is that we strive to bring real value to our customers.
We don’t write code for the sake of code. We do not develop solutions that are redundant for business in terms of functionality or investment. We conduct an in-depth study of the client’s business to understand their real needs and goals and offer the most reliable and profitable solution.
Also, I think, among all other companies, we stand out with our model of interaction and communication. We strive to build trusting and long-term relationships with everyone we work with – employees, partners, and customers.

To do this, we even created our product – Enji. This is a system that was developed at Mad Devs. This helps teams to achieve key goals in software development effectively and customers to be always aware of what is happening and visually see how their business goals are being achieved.
What are the plans for Mad Devs for the near future?
We plan to continue to bring benefits and automate and improve many processes in life and ordinary people – users of our customers’ products.
I see our future in the development and work with projects from the blockchain areas – especially solutions compatible with EVM, fintech, logistics, transportation, and e-commerce. We already have extensive experience in these areas, and I am sure we have enough technical expertise and competence to bring value here.
We also plan to continue to develop our product called Enji. All our clients are already working with it, and with its help, they can see the real progress of the project development as transparently as possible, draw conclusions and make decisions.
Soon, we plan to bring Enji to the market and allow companies like ours and large enterprises that need to make their company work more transparent, coherent, and efficient to work with our product.
Along with this, we, of course, plan to continue to grow and expand our staff and strengthen our position in the markets of the USA, Europe, and Southeast Asia – in particular Singapore and Malaysia.
