Dothost’s hosting services include three shared hosting packages (including a package that’s free for the first year) and four VPS packages. All the shared hosting packages provide you with:
- 5 GB website/database space
- 30 GB traffic
- 15 GB email space
- PHP + MySQL
- Control panel
- Online mail management
- IMAP access, webmail
- Daily backups
The hosting packages include FTP access for transferring large files, and the online backup service makes sure you never lose those files.
Dothost’s hosting packages are complemented by a webshop service (for e-commerce) and SEO services (to improve your website’s search engine ranking).
Pricing and Support
Dothost’s website advertises a free (for the first year) package and two pricey packages. You can purchase plans on an annual, biennial, or triennial basis, but you can only pay in Danish krone via QuickPay.
Customer support options include email (via a contact form) and telephone (for registered clients), but my email submission didn’t work. You can also get remote support, and there is a partially populated self-support section.
