Deceptive Company – Go Elsewhere
Stood up a new VPS with this company based on turn up time, not prior reviews for a small local pool company. Within 10 minutes of the server being active, I begin to receive notices that the box has been compromised. At this point, we've yet to even log into it. So, the password provided and created by OVH was compromised. We reset the instance, reinstalled, and we set a 32 character password: Within 10 minutes - here we go again with the box being compromised. After hours and hours of going through server logs and working with their less than helpfull support, I found nothing. Nothing at all. No Malware, No RootKit, No Virus, No access logs, nothing. Nothing at all. This goes on for months and months. Finally had enough when they began to shut the server off on their own. When I complained about that, they started adding random firewall rules to block traffic, and then blames us. Finally fed up, and threatened to take it to social media - they send us a disconnect notice.
Had issues with OVH since day .5
So happy to have left them and went with a real company based in the USA and not offshore.
Most awful hosting I have ever endured – terrible support
I have never had such a negative/bad experienced with a hosting company. Please avoid at all costs. The support is terrible and if you can't understand their strange non-standard packages and pick the wrong one - well that is just tough because they have your money and they don't give a flip! The support person used broken English in his replies and was rude and completely unclear. On rejecting the answer they just went ahead and closed the ticket with not so much as a consultation to see if I was happy with the answer.... Just a nightmare. Please stay clear and use another good quality hosting company.
Worst experience for 20 years
Very slow account control panel. After clicking on the link, you can wait 30-40 seconds until the page you need opens. There are no links in the control panel other than "Pay money" and "Restart server". All other links to the control panel should be searched in the e-mail. If you have lost access to email, then account recovery is impossible. I tried to solve the problem through tech support. But when I click the "Recover password" link, nothing happens. The account control panel, in my opinion, was created by schoolchildren who do not know what UI/UX are. After paying for the server, I spent two hours trying to figure out where the control panel is located in my account, but I didn't understand until I wrote to technical support. I have 20 years of experience in web-building. When you receive answers to tickets, get ready for the fact that there are no links in the letter to the ticket, and in order to get into the ticket zone, you need to look for a username and password in your mail. I wrote two tickets with a difference of 18 hours between them. Looking at the numbering, over 2,000 tickets were sent by other users of this hosting in 18 hours. I paid for a server in Singapore, but instead, they set up a server in Canada. When I asked for a refund because I didn't need a server in Canada, they said they saw no reason to return the money.

They don't deserve even a 1* review. As a new customer, I wanted to try their VPS and I bought a monthly service. After 8-9 days of having it (never used) I thought this was hard to manage and wanted to cancel so it was not going to renew month after month. I tried to cancel myself but it an error was shown. At this time I understood that something bad was going to happen.
Did send them a ticket asking to cancel it, after I called them but they dedicate to not cancel the hosting and are going to charge me for another 11 months!
This is unlawful since in their TOS it's written that the customer can ask for cancelation in the first 14 days.
I am going to fill a lawsuit for this company. I know my customer rights.
If you don't want stressful days don't go for OVH, it will be your nightmare!
The worst technical support ever
Servers are good, but the support just does not exist. I upgraded my VPS and become inaccessible, created a support ticket but already passed 48 hours and they didn't respond, my ecommerce is down and I cannot do anything, I restarted the VPS 10 times, just the IP is not responding.
Absolutely Abysmal Support
Absolutely abysmal Support. Really so very very bad,
a) Their service purchasing process is buggy, unable to create the correct configuration and their web page menu, which shows the headings but not the actual items below is a joke.
b) We were charged automatically for a service that we did not order. After submitting a request for a credit, which took 4 days to respond to, it took another 2 days to "investigate" and then another 2 days to get our money back.
Then if that wasn't bad enough, we got another invoice and automatic charge to our account just a few days later, for the same screw up they just fixed, !!
So again we had to go through the same process of complaining and waiting - and more waiting.
c) We then had a server problem which was Urgent. No one was available locally, on a Friday, so we made contact with Singapore. While the chap we spoke with was pleasant and helpful, and he communicated with us consistently and "expedited" our service request - 4 days later it was still "unassigned" and still a problem. Absolutely appalling.
d) Their Billing system is a joke. Information "unavailable" is often seen on the screen, and there is little correlation between screen and information. Very amateurish.
If you are in Australia, you can forget and Sales pr Technical support, it just does not exist, even if you want to spend money you can't find anyone to talk to. It's ludicrous.
Bottom line - If you want a service that is on the cheaper side and willing to gamble, try OVH.
If you want any form of Sales support or Technical support, best to look elsewhere.
Difficult for setting with KVM
Very slow such as setting OS, redirecting. Difficult for support from administrator. I wouldn't auto renewal. The company should cancel a KVM. Are you test UX to quality? I think wrong that selected VPS windows at your company. Thank you.
Lack of reliability and no support
Recurring technical failures, convoluted prices of their packages and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, this is what's awaiting from you if you subscribe. OVH's growth is clearly performed at the expense of its customers. This company is a disgrace to the IT world
