Please describe the story behind the Sievers Creative: What sparked the idea, and how has it evolved so far?
Sievers Creative was created out of the need to offer small to medium-sized businesses high-quality marketing services at a cost they can afford. Roger Sievers started working on the website and graphic design projects as a side business to pay off his student loans as he worked a full-time job as the multimedia manager at a local newspaper group.
After working on side projects over the course of 7-8 years, that side business turned into a full-time “side job” . Trying to fulfill the duties of two almost full-time positions left Roger in a stage of burnout. Jessica and Renee (co-owners) stepped up to take over the day-to-day management of Sievers Creative and brought the company to a new level.
Within 9 months of them stepping in and helping take over the company, they asked Roger to leave his full-time job at the newspaper group and join Sievers Creative full time. After 4 years of full-time effort and focus being poured into Sievers Creative, we are now a team of 8 and experiencing growth of roughly 40-50% year over year.
What is the mission of Sievers Creative?
To be a force for good. We have decided that a life of impact is far more desirable than a life of luxury. We also recognize there is more to life than financial gain and material possessions.
We believe in empowering ourselves and our team to give back to our community, our world, and the causes we believe in. So we have structured our sales goals with our giving back as the first priority.
We figure out the causes we want to support and how much we want to give, then in order to accomplish those goals, we have to drive the revenue and sales to make them come to fruition.

How do you envision the future of your industry?
Digital marketing will continue to become more and more personalized based on data that is collected from the greater web.
There will be many companies that are able to produce websites and designs, but there will be far fewer that are able to plan and execute long-term marketing strategies. As our online technologies become ever more integrated, you will see data streams from multiple platforms informing marketing analytics in ways we can’t currently see.
