Please present FieldInsight to our audience

FieldInsight is an all-in-one field service platform. Our automated platform systemises business workflows to help save time and boost productivity. We aim to fit all you need for your workflows into the one easy to access place.

Please describe the story behind the company: What sparked the idea, and how has it evolved so far?

Founded by Paul and Natasha Tyrrell in 2009 because they wanted to spend time working with real people and helping them build their businesses through software and automation.

FieldInsight began as a simple idea after seeing two techs struggling to find the address for their client site. From this incident came the thought, ‘Imagine if you had a software that could organize and schedule from your mobile phone?’ This idea grew into what would become FieldInsight today. FieldInsight is ever evolving as we aim to improve our platform with feature updates to meet our customer’s expectations.

What services do you offer?

Our software platform provides usability for office and field operations of a field service business. We cover a wide range of field service industries and our features revolve around; scheduling, customer relationship management, asset management, job management, safety, forms, defect tracking, quoting, timesheets and field accessibility, just to name a few.

What is the mission of FieldInsight?

Our mission is to help you save time and improve your work life balance. Meaning less stressing over lost information, lack of communication, no visibility or no clear next steps for your business. FieldInsight has helped Mechanical Services businesses save 1,000,000 hours of lost productivity over the years and we aim to continue this with all our future customers.

Who are your typical customers, and what do you think is the main challenge that your product solves for them?

Our typical customers vary across the field service industries including those in HVAC, fire protection management, heavy equipment, civil construction, plumbing, electrical contracting and facility and building management.

The main challenge that our end-to-end platform solves is a lack of visibility and clarity in a business. FieldInsight takes even the most chaotic workflows and streamlines them to create more order and visibility over a business.

How do you envision the future of your industry?

Field service businesses are surrounded with more demands around better customer service and quicker response times. For these businesses to achieve this, they need a systemized workflow to keep them on track.

The future of field service software is changing to allow for more flexibility over workflows and automating more practices. For the future of FieldInsight you can expect more options around field accessibility and seamless operations.
