Can users register, purchase, and transfer domains through Hostomy?
Yes, users can register, transfer, and renew domains at Hostomy. Our domain services include Free Privacy Protection and Cloud DNS.
What Hosting plans do you offer?
We have three types of Shared Hosting plans designed to provide the best features for our customers’ budget.
Our most basic plan, the
Starter Plan, is $1.49 per month and includes hosting for one website, 10GB SSD Disk, unlimited traffic, and email hosting.
Our
Advanced Plan is $2.99 per month and includes hosting up to 5 websites, 20GB SSD Disk with unlimited traffic, and email hosting.
Lastly, our
Pro Plan, which is designed for flexibility and performance, costs $4.49 per month and includes unlimited website hosting, 30GB SSD Disk with unlimited traffic, and email hosting.
Please note that apart from raising disk and website hosting limit, each successive plan provides higher RAM, CPU Usage, IO Usage, etc.
Do your hosting plans include SSL?
Yes, all our Shared Hosting plans come with a free SSL certificate provided by Let’s Encrypt SSL. SSL can be installed freely from cPanel for every addon and sub-domain you host with Hostomy!
What apps are available for installation?
The Softaculous App Installer is available through our cPanel which comes with every Shared Hosting Plan. Softaculous provides 450+ applications that can be installed with just a few clicks. WordPress is the most frequently installed application.
Do you have migration services for customers with existing web sites?
Yes, we provide free migration from any other host to Hostomy! Choose your plan, and we will execute it!
Do you include Email Hosting?
Yes, you get email hosting too with any Shared Hosting plan you choose! You can create your own
[email protected] standard email from cPanel!
Are backup and recovery services available?
Yes, at Hostomy, data is our priority. We take daily and weekly automated off-site backups of our secondary servers to ensure that clients never have to worry about data loss. We keep a month of data backup for each account. This service is included in every plan at no extra charge!
How can you guarantee a 99.9% uptime?
Clients can rely on us because we hate downtime as much as they do! We use Cloud Infrastructure, designed for high availability with a 99.9% uptime SLA across all accounts. Our 99.9% uptime guarantee means your websites will always be available. We also have public Uptime Monitor provided by Uptimerobot which can be checked at https://status.hostomy.com
What services are available on your cloud servers?
We currently provide Cloud Servers with basic management features such as rebooting, re-installing OS, managing network settings, and graph metrics.
We will be adding a one-click application installation feature for apps such as WordPress. Until then, our support team will install and set up apps at the client’s request.
How are your servers protected against hackers and other cyber threats?
We take security very seriously. Our infrastructure is fault-tolerant, DDoS resistant, and designed for high-availability. Plus, we monitor our servers 24/7 and take actions as required.
What type of support is available to your customers?
We have two types of support Live Chat and a Ticket System. Clients can also email us directly, which will automatically create a ticket. Our priority is to respond to every support request as soon as possible! We provide 24/7 support.
