Stack 7 Hosting was founded in 2017, so it’s quite a new hosting provider. It is located in Mexico, and its website is available in Spanish.
It’s not clear how many customers are currently served by Stack 7 Hosting, but its social media profiles are relatively inactive.
Features and Ease of Use
Stack 7 Hosting offers cloud hosting, reseller hosting, cloud VPS packages, and SSL certificates. Its hosting plans provide the following come core features:
- 99.95% availability SLA
- One free .com domain name
- Up to four add-on domains
- SSL certificates
- Up to 45 GB SSD disk space
- Free backups
Developer-friendly features include PHP and MySQL databases plus the Ruby, Perl, and Python programming languages. If you’re not up to the task of coding your website from scratch, you can instead use the one-click installer that provides 400+ installation scripts for popular CMS and other programs such as WordPress, Joomla, osCommerce, Magento, PrestaShop, and Drupal.
Performance-enhancing features include the Cloudflare CDN (for faster page loading speeds) and SSD storage (which is speedier and more reliable the traditional HDD storage). And to help save you from a data disaster, you get free backups.
Pricing and Support
The annual prices in Mexican pesos look expensive, but they translate into affordable monthly prices when converted into U.S. dollars. You can purchase plans on one-month or one-year terms, with a discount for an annual commitment. You get a free .com domain, but you have to pay for an SSL certificate.
Customer service is only available via ticket, but I was unable to summon any response via this route. To make matters worse, the “Help Center” knowledgebase contains only a handful of entries.
