Features and Ease of Use
OURHost offers three shared hosting plans for individuals and small businesses that are looking to get online. These are a few features that it provides:

I wrote 99.9%/99.6% because those two figures were mentioned throughout the website and the correct one isn’t clear. If it’s 99.9%, that’s still ok for a shared server. However, 99.6% uptime isn’t too good; that means we are looking at approximately six minutes of downtime daily and 40 minutes every week.
OURHost uses solid state drives to provide top-notch storage to its customers. This ensures that read and write performances are top-notch and that the storage system is durable and reliable. However, its provision of “unlimited” disk space is worrisome as no server comes with unlimited storage, so when this is advertised as such, it raises questions of performance and the load on the server.
For some people, though, seeing “unlimited storage” is a perk and if that matters to you, then you’ll be happy to know that this company also provides RAID 10 to protect customers’ data in the event of hardware failure.
One sweet feature that OURHost provides is CloudLinux OS. This creates a reliable server by separating each cPanel account into its own cage/light-weight virtualized space. Also, it provides Varnish supercache to provide a faster load time for your visitors. Another nice feature is its provisioning of basic protection against DDoS attacks.
Furthermore, the company provides Softaculous for easily installing applications including WordPress, a website builder with tons of free templates, and an antivirus for email accounts.
Pricing and Support
OURHost offers one-month hosting prices, but they are quite expensive. If you’re looking to pay a more reasonable fee, you’ll have to go for at least one year of hosting. That option also comes with free domain registration.
The risk of using OURHost is high as there’s no free trial, free plan, or money-back guarantee. However, the free domain and free SSL (on the top plan) might be worth it enough for you to go with it. Furthermore, it provides free migration from other hosting companies.
The company offers better-priced VPS plans, even for one-month subscriptions. As you move up to higher subscription tiers, you’ll benefit from discounts. The pricing of dedicated servers aligns with industry competitors’ rates.
Customer support is available through a knowledge base section, email, phone, and ticketing system. There’s also a live chat button, but it doesn’t seem to work; my attempts, at least, were unsuccessful. I sent an email and got a reply soon after, albeit a confusing one.
