Based in Germany, Explosive Hosting is a new face in the hosting market that was founded by Florian Teuber (20 years old) and Christian Gorke (18 years old) in 2017. It takes a slightly different approach than most vendors by offering Teamspeak3 servers, MusikBots, Teamspeak3 AdminBots, domains and web hosting. The website is well-designed, but lacks sufficient information about the service and available in German only.
Features and Ease of Use
Explosive Hosting doesn’t offer anything new when it comes to shared hosting, but it has a few perks such as:
- Free SSL certificates
- DDoS protection
- Plesk control panel
- PHP 5 & PHP 7 support
- WordPress Installable
- SSD storage
- 99.9% network uptime
The Plesk control panel comes as a standard with all packages. It has a user-friendly interface giving easy and full control over all aspects of your website allowing you to easily manage the website files.
The Plesk control panel has its own built-in one-click app installer. The installer’s interface is similar to that of an app store on your smartphone in the sense that important apps, such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, PrestaShop, and many more can be installed with a single click.
Pricing and Support
Explosive Hosting offers its shared hosting services through three simple packages: the 1 GB plan, the 5 GB plan, and the 10 GB plan. Obviously the difference between them is the storage that comes with them. There are very minor other differences. Prices, on average, are competitively affordable.
At the start of any contract, there’s a 14-day money-back guarantee and the accepted payment methods are PayPal, credit cards, and Paysafecard. You can choose to be billed monthly, quarterly, or semi-annually.
Even though Explosive Hosting has a live chat channel, it’s been offline for over a week. I tried reaching them through email and ticket support, but I received no response whatsoever for more than a week. As for the Knowledgebase, it’s very limited and unhelpful. I suggest calling them on their phone support channel or social media accounts. My experience was really bad, so I hope you have a better luck.
