BudiONLINE is a web hosting brand of Croatian company MadNET. Both hosting brands appear to be lackluster when it comes to providing pre-sales support, which is a pity because the hosting prices are competitive.

BudiONLINEBudiONLINE Web Servers is a web hosting brand of Croatian company MadNET, which itself was established in 2005. Whether you want shared hosting, virtual or dedicated servers, or colocation, you’ll find it all at BudiONLINE, along with domain registration and transfer services.

BudiONLINE’s website is in Croatian.

Features and Ease of Use

BudiONLINE offers five standard shared hosting plans, two business hosting plans (one for email and one for web hosting), four virtual server plans, four server colocation plans, and four dedicated server plans. The five standard shared hosting plans provide you with:

  • 99.5% uptime guarantee
  • HP Xeon hardware
  • cPanel control panel
  • Unlimited hosted websites
  • 5 GB to 50 GB web space
  • 5 GB to 100 GB email space
  • Unlimited traffic
  • 10 to unlimited MySQL databases
  • Unlimited FTP users, emails, parked domains, addon domains, and subdomains
  • PHP version selector (from 5.4 to 7.2)
  • Free SSL certificate

The included Installatron installer lets you install hundreds of CMS and other apps such as WordPress. WordPress, in particular, is optimized for high-speed performance.

You also get three webmail programs for remote access to email, and weekly backups to a second server.

Virtual and dedicated servers come with Zabbix monitoring so that you can keep an eye on system performance with a view to making improvements. And full root access means you can take total control of your server.

Pricing and Support

BudiONLINE’s shared hosting plans are priced competitively, and you can get a free .hr domain. You can pay for hosting in Croatian kunas, U.S. dollars, or euros via PayPal or via this host’s GIRO account.

The only billing cycle is yearly, but the parent company MadNET’s 30-day money-back guarantee should make you feel better about making an annual commitment (because you can get out early if anything goes wrong).

You can contact the customer support team during slightly-short working hours on weekdays via telephone, support ticket, fax, or pre-sales contact form. Remote support is available via AnyDesk, and there is supposedly 24/7 email support, but my exploratory email went unanswered.

If you have to resort to self-support, you’ll be disappointed to discover that this host’s knowledge base contains only four entries:

Bottom line on BudiONLINE

For competitively priced Croatian shared hosting plans with a free .hr domain, you could consider BudiONLINE. However, I’d feel better about this hosting business if I’d been able to summon a pre-sales support response.

  • Competitive pricing
  • Free .hr domain with web hosting
  • 30-day money-back guarantee
  • Minimum annual commitment

  • Only 99.5% uptime guarantee
  • Unresponsive pre-sales support

Consider taking your website online with BudiONLINE.
