Frequently Asked Questions

What is AMP?

AMP stands for Accelerated Mobile Pages and is an open source project, supported by Google and designed to make the (mobile) web faster. To make a webpage ready for AMP you need to structure the page with AMP HTML, AMP JS and AMP Cache. By using AMP you are able to reduce load time and bounces rates. According to Google: “The average time it takes to fully load a mobile landing page is 22 seconds, according to a new analysis. 53% of visits are abandoned if a mobile site takes longer than 3 seconds to load”.

How does AMP work?

No one wants to wait forever for a web page to load on a mobile device. Slow loading times nearly guarantee that the user will bounce from your website. Google Search VP David Besbris stated that 53% of all mobile searches are abandoned if the person needs to wait longer than 3 seconds for a lage to load. It is essential, therefore, to ensure your pages are AMP Validated. With our tool, all you need to do is put in the URL (up to 10), and we will check to see if your URL(s) are valid AMP(s). It is that simple! If your URL is not an AMP, we will provide a list of the issues that can be fixed to make your URL an AMP.

How to use this tool?

There is absolutely no coding required on your part (and no hidden costs either, it’s free) – just copy and paste your URL into the marked box and our nifty tool will do the rest. If the tool spots any problems, it will let you know. You can then use that information to fix the page and try again.
