VPSWALA has specialized in a range of hosting solutions for almost eight years, but it still has a long way to go to become a worthy competitor in the market. There are parts of its website that make me suspicious about it in general. Its free plans may be okay, but I’d be cautious about its paid plans.

Overview

VPSWALA

VPSWALA is a hosting company founded in 2013. Its location isn’t clear, but the toll-free number on its website has a U.S.A. area code, so let’s assume it’s U.S. based. The company specializes in shared hosting, VPS hosting (for Linux and Windows), cloud hosting, and dedicated servers.

The VPSWALA website is limited in information, disorganized, and only available in English. All prices are in U.S. dollars.

Features and Ease of Use

VPSWALA offers three shared hosting packages – Micro, Medium, and Advanced. The Micro plan is free, and all plans vary in the number of hosted domains, email accounts, and cPanel accounts.

Each plan comes with unlimited storage and monthly bandwidth, as well as the following features:

  • cPanel
  • One-click installer
  • 99.99% uptime guarantee
  • SSL certificate
  • SSD storage
  • Website transfer

The VPSWALA services use SSD storage, which performs much faster than the traditional HDD storage when it comes to website data processing. The use of SSD improves your website’s loading speed, stability, and overall performance.

The cPanel control panel, which comes with all three shared hosting plans, is known for its user-friendly management interface and the numerous useful built-in tools. From within cPanel, you can easily manage your website files, domains, FTP accounts, backup intervals, and much more.

If you’re looking for more resources and features, you can always go with one of VPSWALA’s VPS hosting plans for Linux and Windows. There are also cloud hosting and dedicated servers. However, I consider all of these services quite limited in features and resources.

You can find other hosts that will offer more in the same price range or even cheaper. So before digging into your wallet, I suggest you take a quick look at our top web hosting comparison.

Pricing and Support

Even though VPSWALA has a free plan with almost all its services, the paid plans are slightly more expensive than other hosts in its tier. All plans are monthly, and you don’t get the choice of a longer contract.

The only accepted payment method is PayPal, and VPSWALA doesn’t have a money-back guarantee. Then again, you can always try the service with a free plan. Even the dedicated server’s category has a small plan free for the first three months. I wouldn’t recommend signing up to a paid plan without trying out a free plan first… because, well, I’m a bit skeptical about VPSWALA’s trustworthiness.

The VPSWALA website is not only limited in information, but it also has several misleading and non-functional links. When I turned to the knowledgebase for answers, I was disappointed to find it empty. It seems that VPSWALA may be among a growing number of web hosting providers that don’t seem to be 100% genuine.

VPSWALA

I had a ton of questions for customer support. It’s stated on the website that customer support is available 24/7 through phone (toll-free), email, and support ticket. However, I used both online channels to send all my questions, and more than 48 hours have passed, and I haven’t received a reply.

A Free Domain is included when purchasing any hosting service from VPSWALA

Bottom line on VPSWALA

With limited features, expensive plans, and poor support, I’m drawing a blank for anything positive to stay about VPSWALA. If I were to be optimistic, I’d say the only thing slightly acceptable is that there are a few useful freebies. I would strongly suggest taking a quick look at our list of the best web hosting services before investing in this host.
