Features and Ease of Use

Keen Host insists that it only uses high-quality hardware for its servers, though I did not find any information on its website that expressly states what this hardware is, except a mention that it uses pure SSD servers. This does not stop the hosting firm from giving its users what it calls a “zero risk guarantee” as part of its website security offerings.
This vendor’s cPanel powered hosting stood out for me. The plan is designed for novice webmasters, so the vendor has made it in a way that makes it easy for these users with very little technical know-how to run their websites.
Keen Host’s most basic hosting plan is the Classic 1G package. It comes with 1GB disk space, 20GB bandwidth, and five email addresses. The most advanced shared web hosting package is Classic 10G, which comes with 10GB disk space, 250GB bandwidth, 10 domains, and 100 email addresses.
While it is true that Keen Host takes daily backups of its clients’ websites, the vendor says that these backups are not guaranteed and that they are strictly for its own use in the event of server failure. Therefore, the vendor recommends that each user keeps their own backup copy of their website data in their own storage servers or personal computers.
I found it a little unsettling that some sections of the Keen Host website still contain the dummy Latin text from its website theme, especially for a hosting company that has been around since 2002.

Keen Host hosting solutions are pretty cheap, especially keeping in mind that the vendor offers free migration and a free SSL certificate. Except for its dedicated servers, the vendor offers inflexible contracts, with the shortest contract period being one year. The prices are listed in U.S. dollars.
Keen Host has a 30-day money-back guarantee. However, the vendor states that the guarantee does not apply to users who buy their hosting plans under a promotion. Its offerings include a 99.95% uptime guarantee.
You can get in touch with this vendor using its support email, live chat, telephone number, or ticketing system. However, the live chat is often offline. The vendor has a knowledge base section on its website, but it has no articles or tutorials. My email query to this vendor’s support team went unanswered, as well.
