HostingLibre supports excellent and highly available web hosting services. Its offerings are not only personalized to suit individuals and SMEs, but they are equipped to power WordPress-based websites, as well.
Its hosting servers are in Chile, and besides web hosting, its Spanish website also sells domain name registration services.
Features and Ease of Use
As standard, HostingLibre website solutions come with the following features:
- PHP versions 5.6 to 7.3
- DMCA friendly
- HestiaCP control panel
- Unlimited monthly transfer
All of its servers use SSD storage technology. SSDs are said to be much faster, up to 20 times, than servers running on standard HDD storage systems. This gives you an edge, boosting your site’s loading times for faster access by your site visitors.
To make sure that its equipment runs continuously without interruption, this hosting company has deployed Uptime Robot, a free tool that monitors your website every five minutes and alerts you in case your site goes down so that quick action can be taken immediately to restore your website.
With its hosting solutions, you get a selection of four packages: Lite (4GB disk space, four domains allowed), Standard (8GB disk space and six domains), Pro (12GB disk space and ten domains allowed), and Premium (14GB disk space and unlimited domain names).
The hosting solutions are hosted in Chile and feature BitNinja that applies a new technology called defense network, thus applying the most powerful defense mechanisms on your servers. Also, backups are automatic and are created daily (both onsite and offsite).
Pricing and Support
While HostingLibre introductory prices come with 50% off in your first month of service, the plans can be quite overwhelming moving forward. The plans, however, are billed monthly and their prices are listed in U.S. dollars.
Unfortunately, although the vendor boasts of high uptime, it does not seem to commit to an uptime network guarantee, and there is no money-back guarantee or any refund policy.
For assistance, customers can send a message via ticketing system or email. Nonetheless, there is no telephone or live chat support. I sent this vendor’s support team an email query and received a response almost 48 hours later.
The knowledgebase section is available but it is bare, and the vendor does not seem to have an FAQ section, video tutorials, or blogging area.
