Founded in 1998, EVEO began life as PointNET. After a series name changes, they relaunched in 2014 as EVEO, with the service suffix “Enterprise Cloud”. Despite the rebranding, this is a well-established company with more than 8,000 clients and 1,000 servers currently in use. EVEO has servers housed in two Brazilian data centers, plus one in the U.S.A. Their website can be switched between Portuguese and American English, and their support is also available in both languages.
Features and Ease of Use
EVEO provides hosting to large corporations and businesses. They do not offer shared hosting. Instead, they specialize in dedicated servers, virtual private servers, and cloud hosting.

EVEO offers some great features for enterprise level clients, including full console access via SSH and remote desktop for both Linux and Windows. Their hardware is top quality, and they offer RAID 1 + 5, 6, 10 or 50 as well as being an official Intel® Xeon® partner. Their servers are managed by EVEO staff in Tier III data centers. As well as benefitting from 24/7 on-site engineers to maintain the hardware (meaning very fast response times), you get your own dedicated account manager.
Unlike some dedicated server rental companies, it is not possible to purchase and pay for server rentals directly online, and set-up takes two to four business days. This is a customized service that requires EVEO to understand the customer’s business goals prior to implementation.
Pricing and Support
EVEO’s servers are for companies who are serious about premium website hosting. The prices are expensive when compared to local and international providers, but they do provide a top quality service with excellent infrastructure and a dedicated account manager, so the extra cost may be justifiable. Their prices are displayed per month, and they do not appear to offer any discounts or incentives. They do not have a free trial or a money-back guarantee.
EVEO provides excellent customer service. For technical support, they have 24/7 email and telephone support, plus live chat support between 8 am and 8 pm daily. Their customer service is available in English and Portuguese, and I have always received a rapid response when contacting them via live chat. The operators are helpful, polite and well-informed (if a little sales orientated). Sadly, they do not offer any help documentation on their website.
