Overview

Based in the US, Ditinex is a website hosting company that was founded just a few years ago. It offers cPanel hosting, managed WordPress hosting, shared hosting, and cloud VPS (virtual private servers). It also provides domain registration and web development services. Ditinex has servers in Dallas, Texas.

The website is sleek, easy to navigate, and available entirely in English. All prices are in US dollars.

Features and Ease of Use

ditinex features

Ditinex offers feature-rich, Linux-based shared and cPanel hosting; each type of hosting comes with three plans – Basic, Advance, and Ultimate. The shared hosting plans use a Vesta control panel while WordPress and cPanel hosting both use cPanel. All plans provide you with these key features:

  • 99.99% uptime guarantee
  • SSD storage
  • Free SSL certificate
  • DDoS (distributed denial of service) protection
  • Weekly backups
  • Free website migration
  • Softaculous installer

Powered by SSD storage, Ditinex’s web hosting servers will boost your website’s loading speeds and overall performance. In addition, the 10 GB to unlimited disk space is more than enough, whether you’re running a personal website, blog, or an online business. Other resources include email accounts, and from one to an unlimited number of hosted websites.

Although weekly backups are carried out by default, it’s possible to ask the customer support team to schedule backups daily or every two days. You can also run manual backups from your cPanel or Vesta, although multiple users have reported problems when creating backups on the latter.

Both the industry-standard cPanel and Vesta control panel are good choices to manage different aspects of your website. However, I find cPanel easier to work with – it’s more secure and familiar compared to the fast-growing Vesta.

Ditinex offers both WordPress Manager and BoldGrid site builder with its cPanel hosting plans to make it super easy for you to create a stunning website from scratch. However, if you choose to go for one of the shared hosting packages, the company will help you install WordPress and other plugins for building your website.

Softaculous one-click installers are provided on both shared and cPanel servers for accessing hundreds of web apps and open-source platforms, including WordPress, OpenCart, Drupal, Joomla, Typo3, and PrestaShop. This way, you’ll be more focused on using those apps than wasting time looking for ways to install them.

In addition, Ditinex will migrate your website for free and promises zero downtime during the migration.

Pricing and Support

Ditinex offers a range of web hosting plans from budget-friendly to moderately priced. You have the flexibility to select monthly, semi-annual, or annual billing options. Payments can be conveniently made through PayPal, credit/debit card, or Paytm.

This vendor offers a free domain for the first year with its annual plans and a 30-day money-back guarantee. The customer support agent also advised me that Ditinex can provide a one-month free trial to evaluate Ditinex’s hosting features before purchase.

I sought advice through live chat, which is available 24/7, and it was very helpful:

You can also get in touch with Ditinex’s customer support through support ticket or email. In addition, video tutorials and remote assistance via TeamViewer can be arranged via support.

Ditinex does have a knowledge base on the website, but there’s nothing in it.

Ditinex REVIEW: BOTTOM LINE

Ditinex offers quality and feature-filled web hosting plans for Linux. It also has a highly responsive customer service that’s available around the clock. Its self-help options are seriously lacking, though.

Pros:

  • SSD storage
  • 30-day money-back guarantee
  • 24/7 live chat support
  • Free domain for first year with annual plan
  • Free SSL certificate

Cons:

  • Empty knowledge base
  • Doesn’t offer shared hosting for Windows
