Although this provider advertises Linux and Windows hosting with Plesk, the associated link leads to a page that promotes Linux hosting with the Plesk control panel (i.e., no further mention of Windows). The three shared hosting plans are Basic Hosting (10 GB disk space, 10 MySQL databases, up to 10 external domains), Advanced Hosting (50 GB disk space, FTP accounts, 10 MySQL databases, up to 30 external domains), and Unlimited Hosting (unlimited disk space, unlimited MySQL databases, up to 100 external domains).
All the packages include one domain name, unlimited monthly bandwidth, the Cloudflare CDN, a free SSL certificate, FTP accounts, 120 days of backups, and a Spanish IP address.
All hosting solutions are also covered by the CowabiGuard backup system that provides weekly backup services as a courtesy for customers. However, these backup services are limited to 50 GB backup space, and the backup service will be suspended if you exceed this limit.
Cowabi’s VPS servers come with root and SSH access and the ability to customize resources with just a few mouse clicks. These VPS plans include 20 GB to 40 GB storage and up to 16 IP addresses, and they use SSD storage for faster website loading speeds.
Pricing and Support
Cowabi’s hosting plans are pretty affordable, and they include advanced features with very few feature restrictions. The only available billing cycle is yearly, and there is no money-back guarantee to mitigate your commitment risk. However, there is a free hosting package that you could use to test this provider’s services.
Cowabi guarantees 99.9% availability, which is at the low end for the industry, but it is backed by a compensation plan.
Customer service can be accessed via email, ticketing system, or telephone (only advertised on the Facebook page). The customer support desk is available during working hours on weekdays.
Although this vendor’s average response time is about 24 hours, it responded to my email query in less than 30 minutes. However, I wasn’t completely satisfied by the response since it simply linked to the various hosting solutions on the vendor’s website.
