Joanna Ata, Founder of Liatto, has spent the past decade helping businesses simplify digital marketing and achieve measurable growth. In this exclusive
Website Planet interview, she shares how her mission to put clients’ success first has shaped Liatto’s evolution, the strategies she tailors across industries, and the values that drive lasting partnerships.
What inspired the creation of Liatto and how has your mission to help clients succeed shaped your evolution over the past 10 years?
I started Liatto because I saw too many businesses struggling to make marketing work in a way that actually drives results. Over the past 10 years, that mission—to help clients succeed in a practical, measurable way—has guided every decision. We’ve evolved by staying close to our clients’ real needs, not chasing trends for the sake of it. Some clients have stayed with us for years because we approach their marketing as if it were our own business, with a mix of strategy, honesty, and long-term thinking.
How do you tailor digital marketing strategies such as content, lead generation, and branding to diverse industries like e-commerce, SaaS, and personal brands?
The foundation of marketing is the same, but the application is different. For e-commerce, it’s about optimizing every touchpoint to drive conversions. For SaaS, it’s more about education, trust-building, and clear funnels. For personal brands, the focus shifts to authenticity and consistent visibility. We always start with the audience—who they are, what they care about, and how they make decisions—and then build strategies around that. Tailoring comes from listening first, then designing campaigns that fit the industry’s rhythm rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all approach.
Can you walk us through your process for auditing a client’s current marketing efforts and translating that into an actionable strategy?
Our audits go beyond surface metrics. We look at the full funnel: messaging, content, website experience, lead flow, and conversion points. Then we compare what’s in place with both best practices and the client’s actual goals. From there, we identify quick wins to build momentum and longer-term strategic shifts. The outcome is a clear, prioritized roadmap, so the client knows exactly what needs to change, why, and in what order.
How does Liatto maintain a balance between creative design, technical implementation, and measurable performance metrics for your clients?
We see creativity, technology, and data as three parts of the same puzzle. Creative design gives you differentiation and emotional connection. Technical implementation ensures the systems work seamlessly. And measurable metrics keep us accountable. Every campaign we run has KPIs attached, but we never reduce it only to numbers—we balance performance with brand-building, because both are necessary for sustainable growth.
In what ways does your team ensure transparency, integrity, and long-lasting partnerships as core values at Liatto?
Transparency and integrity are at the heart of how we work. We’re upfront about what’s possible, what isn’t, and what it will take to get there. Clients get full access to their data, reports in plain language, and honest conversations about results. That honesty builds trust, and trust is why many of our clients have been with us for years. We don’t want quick wins that fade—we want relationships where growth feels shared.
What common challenges do your clients face in digital growth and how does Liatto address them through integrated services and personalized plans?
The most common challenges are scattered efforts, unclear positioning, and lack of consistency. Many clients have tried different tactics in isolation without a unifying strategy. That’s where we come in. We integrate branding, content, ads, and funnels into a clear plan, so every piece supports the other. And we personalize it, because no two businesses are alike. Our goal is always to simplify the complex and give clients confidence that their marketing is moving in the right direction.
