Terrible Customer Service Without A Duty Of Care
I've been working for the last 6 months on this platform and things had been going well until a customer used my content without permission in paid commercials online. I immediately contacted Fiverr support and initially said they were looking into it, but now after 4 further emails, have still not received any response, support, feedback or resolution. They charge 20% commission so they have made a fair bit of profit from my work - unfortunately, I've now realised they don't actually value or care about their content creators so will look to withdraw my earnings and take my services elsewhere.
I have been using Fiverr to get voiceovers and such and then I got a job where I needed some 3D work done. I found a seller with a job profile that matched the style I wanted, we talked he said he can do it then he gave me the complete opposite of what I asked. I asked for a refund and unfortunately Fiverr took his side, even if it is blatant that the work did not match what I wanted, plus when I wrote a bad review on the seller, Fiverr deleted it. Watch out
It's a legit website, but they are so strict. I am a college graduate and when I was making my gigs, I modeled my gigs off of other gigs that already existed. As a result, my account got disabled and you can't duplicate gigs. So, you're walking on glass if you use this website. I'm pretty salty because as someone who's passionate about writing, I was so excited to use this website!
For one transaction they blocked money on my account 5 times. But they couldn't create even one payment for the seller. I was in need of urgent work but just, I wasted time, money, nerves. And I end up with nothing. Their support is useless, just copy-paste template replays, and no actual action. Very long waiting time for response, and finally ONE BIG NOTHING... just check other comments. here on google Maps at their office, all over the internet... there are alternative services.
How can an order be canceled when it is completed? Complete misunderstanding of the situation for the work done and lost time! I do not recommend this system to anyone and a bunch of scammers! People will just use you and then cancel orders and refund....
TRIED TO GET SOMEONE FROM INDONESIA TO DRAW A CARTOON!
I tried to commission a 'supposed' illustrator from Indonesia which was a disaster! I explained what I wanted 10 times (which was a drawing of 2 cyclists) for my cycling book "CYCLING HEAVEN & HELL!". The seller wanted to send me a cartoon of a Hip Hop which was nothing to do with Cycling! It was obvious this character could not understand English at all! I then requested a cancellation and then instead of Fiverr sending back my £51 they gave me a Fiverr! Since I have no intention of using this platform (it's always crashing!) the gits have gotten £51.00 out of me for nothing! Terrible, terrible service and a waste of 2 days of my time! (If I could give Fiverr "NO" stars I would!!!
RUDE SELLERS ARE NOT DEALT WITH BY FIVERR CUSTOMER SERVICE
I contacted a gentleman on Fiverr from Germany for my project. He basically told me to go away just for asking him about his service and then he said "don't contact me again" and Fiverr said this behavior was okay? Are you serious? How is this okay? Being rude for asking about the service on the CONTACT button? Why aren't you warning this rude person and rating them and if they do it too many times, don't allow them to be on the platform??? We don't need rude people whilst doing business? If I'm going to meet with such rudeness, then your competitors who deal with these rude people are a better choice. Not good enough
As a seller, I delivered a client on Fiverr and he ran away with the product and received a refund. The customer support team was in support of the client and was not able to understand the seller's perspective.
