I am a newbie and did have a friend support me through the beginning. But there were so many details that I was able to resolve with the reps that I only feel grateful for their professional help and pride in what I learned. My website is beautiful, I've gotten compliments and I so glad I chose Dynadot.

I needed VPS hosting for 1 year. For the test I ordered VPS hosting for 1 month in Dynadot. It's been a month already, but I haven't received the VPS hosting.
Tech support says our specialists are working on this problem

I needed alot of assistance- and I got it….with hours of help from the staff
I am a total computer " baby"....and know nothing about the ins and outs of the way things work to do what I need them to do....Hiring is easier than doing all this...But the setting up of the website is easy- NEVER PARK your website- then hell happens! If you want to get rid of it...that is a good way to do it. So far we have my website up and running! Thanks, Dynadot!
Questionable business practices
I searched for a domain on their platform, added to cart, but only checked out 12 hours later. Between me adding to cart and checking out the domain was magically snapped up and reappeared as a premium domain for 3500$. Extremely suspicious and weird. I´ve been dealing with domains for a long time and never seen such a thing happen.

Have never ever used their services, apparently, some service provider opened a domain in my name, which I never used, and hab been paying for it by mistake since I thought it was related to my real domain. When I discovered this it was one day after renewal a year ago and asked for a refund, which they refused. Ever since they still send me emails asking for renewal, even though I requested, very clear, that they stop sending me reminders of a service I DO NOT WANT NOR NEED. I now asked them to stop mailing me or I will sue.
Competitive price – incompetent support
The suppport is not competent to help with anything remotelly more complicated - like transferring DNS records from another registrar. i just needed to copy DNS records and since they have slightly different entry fields asked their guidance. It took an hour for them to understand what is needed. then finally got detailed instructions on how to do it. Asked them to review and confirm that all is good. as a result site was down. next day the support again could not figure out that somebody needs to enter DNS records. Were given clearly nonsensical guidance. after lot's of back and forth got problem resolved, but it is a huge time and energy waste. Unless you can know things yourself and do not need their support, you should better stay away from this time drain. a few saved bucks are not worth it.

You place an order, they take your money, don’t register the domains, steal your time, keep you waiting and still don’t register the domains!!! Even in the small chance they register the domains after repeatedly telling them to they cancel the order so it is still the same as not registering the domains in the first place!!!

You register domain names @ Dynadot and they will still be unregistered and left for ANYONE to register more than 24 HOURS LATER!!!
The last thing you need!
Every single time you register domains @ Dynadot you have to then contact them directly to ask ‘permission’ to register domains. EVERY TIME!
Absolutely NOT user friendly or domainer friendly!
Totally unbelievable that Dynadot does NOT register the domains straight away in 2019 !!
