Cyber Tree is a relatively recent entrant to the American hosting market. I was particularly impressed by the pre-sales support.

Overview

Cyber TreeAmerican host Cyber Tree was founded relatively recently in 2015. It offers a wide selection of hosting solutions, including shared hosting, WordPress hosting, reseller hosting, virtual servers, and dedicated servers (for Linux and Windows). You can also get web-related services such as web design, SSL certificates, and Google’s GSuite.

All servers are located in an American data center, and this host’s website is in English, with prices presented in U.S. dollars.

Features and Ease of Use

The three levels of Linux shared hosting — Start-up, SME, and Business — differ in disk space, monthly traffic, and the number of databases. The smallest plan offers 10 GB storage and 100 GB data transfer, whereas the largest plan provides you unlimited web space and data transfer.

What all the Linux shared hosting plans have in common is:

  • cPanel control panel
  • Softaculous installer
  • Daily backups
  • 99.9% uptime
  • Free SSL protection
  • Up to unlimited FTP and email accounts
  • PHP support, and phpMyAdmin

Although SSH access isn’t allowed, the cPanel control panel allows you to manage all aspects of your hosting, including adding secondary domains (on the two higher plans). The control panel incorporates the Softaculous installer that has 400+ scripts for popular CMS and other programs.

Once your website is up-and-running, you can protect it with the free SSL, and your data is safeguarded by the daily backups.

Pricing and Support

Cyber Tree’s shared hosting and VPS prices are highly competitive compared with similar companies. There are no free domains (as far as I know), but you do get a 30-day money-back guarantee to get you out early with a full refund if anything goes wrong. Pay using PayPal or a credit/debit card.

Cyber Tree’s knowledge base is almost bare, but there is a decent list of frequently asked questions for each service. You can contact the support team by telephone, ticket, email, or live chat, and this host is also active on social media platforms. My ticket submission was answered almost immediately:
