Their free hosting plan includes quite a number of freebies, including a free blog, social network linkups, forum setup, a user-friendly website builder with over 170 predesigned templates, and a single-click app installer. Their cPanel is feature-rich but not so much that it overwhelms a beginner. Uptimes are not guaranteed at 99.99%, so you may experience the occasional interruption in service, but that’s to be expected on a free plan.
The caveat is that to take advantage of the free hosting plan, you do need to fork out a small sum to register your own domain. If you’re going to choose to make an investment, I would recommend going with one of
Hostinger’s cheap plans instead, since there are more features offered, like a free domain name, and overall Hostinger is a high-quality, better-performing hosting provider.
FreeHosting also provides paid hosting packages, but I wouldn’t recommend them. Despite Freehosting’s free plan being pretty light on features, cPanel is included with both the free and paid plans as standard.
Unlike some of the features Freehosting offers, there’s no upcharge for using cPanel. You do have to pay for domain hosting, an SSL certificate, hands-on support, and various add-ons.
