Does HostCare247 care about its customers? Its features suggest so, but its half-baked website (with broken links and some boilerplate text) suggests not.

Overview

HostCare247

It’s hard to say when HostCare247 was founded, since the customary “About Us” page is non-existent and its Facebook link leads nowhere. According to its Twitter account, it was last active in February 2017, so I have some doubts that it is still in the hosting business at all.

Unfortunately, this vendor’s website contains some boilerplate Latin text, has broken order buttons, and no usable knowledge base. It’s a shame because this host should be good.

Features and Ease of Use

HostCare247

On the face of it, HostCare247’s WordPress-optimized shared hosting plans provide everything you need to build and grow your personal blog, business website, or e-store, and to manage it via a convenient user panel. Key features of the hosting include:

  • Domains/add-on domains
  • MySQL 5.1 databases
  • Optimized for WordPress
  • Multi-PHP with FastCGI
  • Softaculous installer
  • Secure FTP access
  • Webmail

Also, don’t downplay the importance of this provider’s free weekly backups that ensure you don’t lose valuable data.

The shared Linux plans and Cloud VPS services sit on servers with SSD storage to deliver peak performance and a 99.99% network uptime. Security is top-notch, with DDoS protection and daily malware scans, and any vulnerability flaws are supposedly fixed the same day.

If you need guaranteed resources or more storage space for your web apps, HostCare24/7’s dedicated servers could be the answer to any downtime issues and resource inadequacy. They’re based in the U.S.A., Ukraine, and the Netherlands, and they come managed or unmanaged.

CentOS is preinstalled on HDD storage (sorry, not SSD) and you get free dedicated IPs plus the free Cloudflare CDN. You can manage your server via the cPanel/WHM administration interface, but you also benefit from full root access.

Pricing and Support

Hosting that is cheap in the short term can be expensive in the long run, but this should not be the case with HostCare247. When you consider the premium-quality free features, DDoS protection, and a choice of high-performance rental servers, you realize that HostCare247 should be the real deal.

But it’s not all good news, and it’s such a shame when an otherwise wonderful host (which even supports Bitcoin payments) has broken order buttons. There is no usable knowledge base, so you can’t support yourself, and you’ll have to try contacting the company’s support team via ticket, telephone (during working hours) or live chat (which was offline whenever I looked).

Bottom line on HostCare247

As its name suggests, HostCare247 should care about its customers insofar as providing them with a secure website and a helping hand when needed. What more would you want? Well, what I’d want is some working order buttons and a vendor website that doesn’t contain boilerplate text.

Pros

  • Fast and secure servers
  • Feature-rich shared hosting
  • Full root access
  • Excellent network uptime

Cons

  • Order forms not working
  • The website contains boilerplate text

For DDoS-protected shared hosting and dedicated servers, see HostCare247 .
